Sailing on the Pride was a fantastic opportunity!! It wasn't outrageously expensive and a great vacation idea. Coming back in at dusk/dark was also another plus. To see the bridge at night was a very pretty site. I would sail again!

A great way to spend an evening! With the wind cooperating, the sail was fun. The crew did not waste our time with a lot of talking but did interact with us if needed. This is a good way to take that first sail. Would definitely do this again.

Our sunset sail on the Schooner Pride was a wonderful experience. It is a very laid back atmosphere with no narration of historical facts and figures. Still, if you have questions and a desire to know local information (historical or otherwise), the crew is more than willing to fill you in and they are all very knowledgeable. The views from the boat are incredible, and the dolphins and pelicans were wonderfully entertaining. My wife was even allowed to steer the ship for a short time - great photo opp. and fun. I highly recommend this sail to anyone who wants a quiet, slow, relaxing experience with wonderful views, cold beverages, and knowledgeable and courteous sailors to aid in your enjoyment. It is a great experience and I would do it again in a heart beat.

| Your sunset sail was the best part of our trip. We are from Kansas, and do not get to sail like this in our land-locked state. While KS is beautiful, SC has many other wonderful amenities. We love your historical references and the attention to preserve history.
Your schooner trip was so relaxing that we slept very well that evening. Thank you for a great sail on the harbor. |

I picked this activity because of the boat itself. I thought it would be nice to do a tour of the harbour on a sail boat ...different from the regular motorboat tours. I did know that there was no narration during the sail however I was very disappointed. The boat was never near enough to the shore or dock or whatever you care to call it for you to even see the buildings or the forts etc.. We pretty much stayed in the middle of the water, a crew member came and she pointed out (into the horizon) here to left is ft sumter, this one is moultrie etc.. not much details, not much enthsiam to it. The sail was relaxing but not informative or fun at all. We just sat on the boat for two hours, until it started getting dark....very boring. In the description it said it was somewhat of a tour and although not much narration would be done but you can ask question... I was indeed aware of that but I was not expecting to just sit in the middle of the water with no conversation piece in close enough sight to even talk and mingle with the others. If you want to just sail in the breeze it is fine but if you want a tour of the harbour to actually see anything I do not ...repeat ...do not recommend this tour. It was money down the drain for us. I ended up taking one the harbour tours from the other lines anyway.

There were 7 of us in our group ranging in age from 4 to 57. All 7 of us had a WONDERFUL time. Sunset was absolutely beautiful, and we got to see dolphins very close to us. I highly recommend this activity!

The cruise was canceled by Schooner Pride due to bad weather. I called the next morning and was told that I should keep the ticket number and when we go back to Charleston, we could reschedule "if there's room". I would rather have gotten my money back.

My husband and I really enjoyed the cruise. It was a beautiful day with a cool breeze, perfect for sailing. It was nice to be out on the bay. Even though at the end of the trip the boat got stuck in a sandbar and we had to be taxied to shore, the crew was very nice giving complimentary drinks and snacks, and working to get the boat off the sandbar and the passengers taken care of. It took about an hour to get back on shore, but I think the crew handled the situation very well. I would take this trip again and recommended it to others. The only reason I take away a star was because we got stuck since I hope in the future that wont happen.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our sailing trip in the Charleston Harbor. Relaxing as well as interesting. Learned a lot of history about the area.
