I was in Charleston on business and most attractions were closed by 5pm. Thanks for offering the sunset sail--the best 2 hours I spent in Charleston!

The schooner and crew were nice, but seemed expensive just to ride to nowhere and not get any histoy unless asked. Once onboard we were told their would be no narration. I believe the advertisement stated the Pride went close to Fort Sumter. We could barely see the fort in the distance. They do state each sail is different and I must say there was no wind on our sunset sail, so this may have hindered the captain some. The sail was still enjoyable and relaxing. And again the crew was friendly and knowledgable when asked.

The crew was professional, friendly, and informative. This is the best way to spend a casual and relaxing evening in Charleston without breaking the bank.

Would definitely recommend. If you are expecting a tour guide talking about the sites of the harbor, this is not the tour for you.. but if you want a delightful ride on an authentic sailboat, sign up for this one. The boat is relatively large and clean, with elegant sails that take you on a very nice ride. The crew members are friendly, helpful, and professional and will answer questions about the harbor and/or sailing. Enjoy the ride!

We had a delightful time on this cruise. We brought our own food, sat back and enjoyed the views, the weather, the water and the service. The crew was excellent - pleasant and conversational without being intrusive. The fact that there was no narrative added to the cruise - allowing each group to make it what they wanted it to be. I would highly recommend this cruise. The sunset over Charleston was breathtaking. Lots of great photo ops!!!!!!!

i've loved boating all my life , own several , all powerboats till now.thru the years I have read novels about the romantic days of sail, and always wanted to experience sailing aboard a large ship. While not a "ship of the line" at 85 ft Schooner Pride allowed us to fufill that dream, a great experience at a very reasonable price and made us want to sail on!
