Sunset Sail on the Schooner Pride

Great sunset coming in. However, we arrived .15 minutes before sail and were last in line to board. There was no room left to sit on deck, and the crew didn't ask the guests to cuddle up. So 2 of us sat on the floor/step, and the guys stood for most of the trip. We did not go by Fort Sumter- sat in the middle of the harbor then tried to 'sail' in, but not enough wind. There was no narritive at all from the captain, would have been nice to have some local knowledge. I would suggest limiting the number of tickets.

The sunset cruise was relaxing but not what I expected or worth the money. Did not see all the things that were mentioned in the description of tour. Not much wind so we just kinda drifted a little, which is understandable since we have no control over mother nature. I think the staff was inexperienced. The captain was very young and I thought he could of done more to service the customers. He could have driven us around instead we just stayed in same area. We didn't go far from dock at all. Just felt like the price of the tour was not worth it. We had to ask the girls for drinks instead of them asking us. I think if some improvements were made to the tour it would worth it.

The cruise capped off a wonderful day. The crew was extraordinarily helpful and skilled as the skipper sailed into the mooring - no engine. It was a perfect night for his display of fine seamanship.

Pleasant sail. Polite and attentive crew. Great fun.

A nice agenda, but way too crowded to be enjoyable...expected a bit more relaxed setting instead got a crowded oversold boatload

Trip was as advertised. Evening was beauiful. The crew was well trained, courteous and informative. We felt very safe and very much enjoyed our cruise. Thanks. It was a very good value.

I really enjoyed the Schooner Pride! It is a beautiful boat with a friendly crew. I got to steer and raise a sail and took a ton of jealousy-inducing photos of the harbor and of course the handsome boat. I would definitely recommend this to anyone heading to Charleston.

We felt like we had been transported back in time on the sailing schooner- total quiet, no motors- staff were very interested in talking with us, sharing their love of the sea. A glass of wine, watching the sun set, in a vessel similar to what brought over the first settlers- Life is good.

The Schooner offers great views of the Harbor and a unique experience on board a sailboat. The staff was very personable & helpful. For those visiting our fine city, there is a little history review of the surrounding building & islands. It is a fun way to see the Charleston Harbor!!

There is nothing like sailing in the Charleston Harbor, seeing the beautiful sights, and enjoying a wonderful evening with friends. I felt like a new person after sailing on the Schooner Pride.
