Sunset Sail on the Schooner Pride

The sunset cruise was relaxing but not what I expected or worth the money. Did not see all the things that were mentioned in the description of tour. Not much wind so we just kinda drifted a little, which is understandable since we have no control over mother nature. I think the staff was inexperienced. The captain was very young and I thought he could of done more to service the customers. He could have driven us around instead we just stayed in same area. We didn't go far from dock at all. Just felt like the price of the tour was not worth it. We had to ask the girls for drinks instead of them asking us. I think if some improvements were made to the tour it would worth it.

The Schooner offers great views of the Harbor and a unique experience on board a sailboat. The staff was very personable & helpful. For those visiting our fine city, there is a little history review of the surrounding building & islands. It is a fun way to see the Charleston Harbor!!

Had an enjoyable time, but thought it was a little short. Just about the time I really started to relax, we came about and headed for home. I would have paid more for a longer tour. I view it sorta like going to a fine restaurant and enjoying a smaller meal. I left still hungry. Overall a good experience. Friendly staff, clean ship.

Our sunset sail was amazing. It was a beautiful evening with plenty of wind and watching the crew handle the vessell was absolutely fascinating. This beats a carriage ride in Charleston any day!

The views were much prettier when we left from the Marina and looked at Battery Row than from the Aqurium Wharf looking at cargo ships. The sails weren't raised until an hour in to the sail. Leaving at 7:00, the majority of the trip was in the dark. It would have been more enjoyable if it left at 6:00.

We were there for our 10th wedding anniversary and had a great time. We met some nice people too. The crew was friendly and the sunset did not let us down.

The weather cooperated and it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this to anyone.

The Schooner Pride sunset tour of the Charleston harbor was a very relaxing 2 hours. The evening we sailed was clear and warm, so the sunset was beautiful. We sailed near to Fort Sumter and past the USS Yorktown. As we headed back to the wharf, the sun was setting and it looked amazing shining on the water. I only wish the tour had been "narrated" by the captain. I think it would have enhanced the experience if he had simply pointed out some interesting sights or facts as we sailed. Of course, on a cooler or a cloudy evening, the trip may not have been as enjoyable.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise on the Pride. It was a special way to celebrate our anniversary. We brought sushi and pralines and drank wine we purchased on board. Would highly recommend!

The sunset sail on the Pride schooner was a unique, fun experience. I even helped raise the sails! Wonderful crew. I highly recommend it!
