Went on the Sunset Cruise for our 25th anniversary. Beautiful view of the city from the water and a great sunset. Crew was easy to be with and friendly. Very quiet and peaceful. Most of us were couples that did not know each other. I'm sure if you went with a group, it could be more lively if you wanted it to be.

We had a great time on the Sunset cruise. The staff in charge of the sail were all very pleasant and well trained. Our cruise was the evening of Monday, Oct. 22nd.

Sailing was great, but the weather...

Was on board in time. Shortly before we started a thunderstorm broke loose. So we did have some wind, but it was also pouring down. Ponchos didn't help much as they were blown away. The crew was friendly and competent, the tour as such may be pretty nice if undertaken in good weather. We didn't see any sun and consequently we also couldn't observe any sunset. However we had the chance to observe some dolphins alongside the schooner. The vessel is in good shape (I'm an active sailer myself, so I think I can judge that). I would recommend the tour to everybody, given weather is not as bad as it was for us.

The Schooner offers great views of the Harbor and a unique experience on board a sailboat. The staff was very personable & helpful. For those visiting our fine city, there is a little history review of the surrounding building & islands. It is a fun way to see the Charleston Harbor!!

Myself and my wife really enjoyed the cruise. It was slightly crowded and far too short. However time really does fly when your having fun. I just wanted to continue out of the harbor and south toward the Keys! Money well spent.

2nd trip on the 'Pride' as wonderful as the 1st

My sister and I went on the Schooner Pride's 'Sunset Cruise' this year for our 30th birthday. It was our second time sailing with them and we truly enjoyed it. The only trouble we had was that our original cruise had to be rescheduled due to strong storms in the area (quite expected for summer in the south) but we just called the phone number that was provided to us when we registered and were able to reschedule for 3 days later without any trouble. The night we finally did get to cruise was also stormy, but the bad weather had begun to clear our by the time we arrived and the most we had to deal with was a few sprinkles. The cloudy skies didn't seem to matter as the wind was perfect for sailing and the crew worked hard to dry off our seats and get us all comfortable. I highly recommend this cruise for tourists, locals and anyone looking for a great time out on the water - it is well worth the money and any minor weather issues you might have to deal with! We have done both the afternoon and sunset cruises and are looking forward to doing a full moon cruise in the near future!!

Lovely Sunset

Crew was nice, but just enough to get by. Not very enthusiastic..went thru the motions. Never pointed out interesting sights. Below hatch was frightening. Large drills on floor and bench and tools not tied down. Bathroom...no soap in dispenser despite informing captain and a female crew member. Ship looks poorly maintained.. certainly not "ship shape". If I was owner, I'd make a surprise inspection.

fun ride

Very pleasant, no sea sickness, but not as fast moving as I expected. Crew was knowledgeable and helpful. Seating was a little tight, depending on if you like your back against the side of a complete stranger for 2 hrs for those of us who had corner "seating".
