Romantic, but bring a jacket

My date and I had a terrific time on the harbor cruise. We brought dinner and were able to buy wine. Thank goodness the crew packed blankets, though, because once the sun goes down it gets pretty cold on the water (in late April, anyway). I thought we'd go closer to Fort Sumter and further out into the harbor, or closer to the Cooper River Bridge, though. The sunset from the water was gorgeous, and Charleston's a beautiful city. All-in-all, highly enjoyable, and quite romantic!

Qualified & polite crew with a great ships compass

The crew was most qualified to sail a schooner. Each mate and the Skipper was very polite, calm, and assuirng to passengers. The Skipper Captain was a dead ringer for a lifetime sea man and most helpfull. The beer service and choices were good, as was the ship's course! The quiet ambienace was just what we were looking for with no wordy "site" explainations a given, unless requested. Plus, the cool, low volumn music was nice, too. SUGGESTIONS: The boat could use an overhawl or paint job on deck to brighten it up a bit to make it look less like a "shriper exterior deck. If the crew wore all white with a "sailing theme", clothing collection (uniformity) or matching clothing for each, it would improve their professional look. Their clothing was a bit sloppy and worn. Maybe, more "healthfull" snacks could be added to the menu, too.

The crew of the Schooner Pride was fabulous!!! I was running slightly late and they gave me a phone call to make sure I was still on my way!!! We were able to see dolphins on the trip, get close to Fort Sumter, and sailed right up to the new bridge! I highly suggest this sunset sail trip to anyone and of all ages!!! The crew was awesome!!!!!!

Very Nice Time

We were a group of 6 coworkers on a workforce engagement event. We all had a great time. No one in the group had ever been on a sailboat before and we were all delighted in the cruise. The crew were very friendly and helpful. We left on time and came back to the dock on time. The only small dissappointment we had was the actual route we sailed. We did a small circle of the harbor and didn't go any farther than what we could see from the dock. We may have mistakenly expected to much for a 2 hour tour. It was still very relaxing and we all had a great time.

Nice cruise with some drawbacks.

Cruise started 20 mins. late waiting for one couple after being told we MUST be there early..very annoying! Cruise itself was very nice, but would be much enhanced by at least some narritive about what we were seeing. Also, some cushions and/or blankets would help since the only place to sit was on hard wooden hatch covers.

The sunset cruise offers a great view of the Charleston Harbor. We even spotted some dolphins! This was my second cruise on The Pride, and I have had other friends go, also. It was relaxing and fun!

On our last night in Charleston, my husband and I took the Sunset Sail. The views of Charleston Harbor were beautiful, and we watched the sun set over the city. The boat was very interesting and the crew members were friendly and fun. They provided drinks and we brought our own snacks. We appreciated the blankets they offered when the evening turned out to be colder than expected. It was a perfect way to end our stay in Charleston.
