The ship was not that comfortable as there were only limited place to sit. Since it relied on the wind, and their was little, all we did was motor out past the harbour and sit their for 45 min. Then he said we need to motor back in. Waste of time and money. I would not recommend this to anyone as it is not a comfortable way to spend two hours. Then they asked for our help with the sails. I wish I could get my money back as this was not a great way to spend the $75 dollars I spent. |

Great crew, great boat, great weather. I loved the fact that the crew was very knowlegeable if you had questions, but they didn't just rattle off information for no reason. A nice breeze is noise enough for me.
Perfect way to view the harbor. |

The night started off with a ride out into the harbor without the sail. After about 30 min. the captain turned the engine off, the sails were hoisted and we floated through the harbor. The sunset was gorgeous and the staff very friendly. The staff did a great job getting blankets for those people who were cold (and it did get chilly!). The only problems I had was that we returned to the port before the sun was completely set and there were more people on the boat than I thought there would be (which made it loud and took away from the romance of the sunset). However, I would do it again, but just make sure I got a good seat in the middle of the boat. |

Took a group of business associates on the Schooner Pride. The trip was just the right length, and afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the city of Charleston. They allowed us to bring on our own food, and they served a wide variety of beverages. Overall, great value and an enjoyable way to spend the early evening. |

This was a truly enjoyable trip on the Schooner Pride. The crew was helpful and fun. We don't like the "in your face tour guides", so this was perfect for us. |

Our sunset sail on the Pride was delightful. Volunteers helped raise the sails, which was fun. With the sails up, we quietly sailed out of Charleston Harbor, past Fort Sumter. The crew were skillful and friendly. |

We really enjoyed the sail. The crew was very nice and willing to answer questions. We moved here a few months ago, so it was a chance to finally get a different perspective of Charleston. I do have to say we were quite disappointed the first time we tried to go out,the previous Wednesday. It was our Anniversary and we had a special night planned around the sail. We didn't hear it was cancelled until we were already there. I had no idea there was even a chance for cancellation, you should put that on the ticket. Other than that, I would do it again.
Thanks,
Michelle |

We had never been sailing before and after this sunset sail, we have fallen totally in love with sailing. The crew made us feel very comfortable and answered any questions we had. Our two hour cruise seemed all too short. When we were approaching the dock, the sun was setting over Charleston and the view was really beautiful. We will be taking this tour again and again. |

The only thing I didn't like about it was they didn't really explain anything while we were sailing. But my understanding from the website is that they would explain the history of South Carolina while you were sailing, but they didnt. But other than that it was a great experience! |
