| The captain and crew were very nice. The boat looks like it could use a little bit of work, but the trip out was wonderful. It was a cool day, but still comfortable. We saw lots of dolphins and wonderful views from the boat. | ||||||

| Great evening for a sailboat ride through Charleston Harbor. Placid waters, good crew, seasoned captain and pleasant company. Bring your snacks, they provide the beverages. Enjoyable 2 hours, which seemed to pass too quickly. | ||||||

| Peaceful evening sail with enough wind to fill the sails. Sunset about halfway through with moderate overcast. Good way to unwind at the end of a busy week. | ||||||

| Good cruise - very low key. It would have been good if the crew had whipped up the water that was on all the seats after it had rained - everyone was sorta looking around for towels or paper towels when we first got on the boat. Other than that, it was a nice cruise! | ||||||

| We were excited to go aboard the Schooner Pride and had read good reviews about the trip. It was a cloudy day with a few very short showers, but nothing that ruined our day. The crew were friendly, but kept to themselves, no tour and no information given about what you were seeing. One of the crew members had his girlfriend on board and we weren't sure if she also worked on the boat, but she helped with the sails. We got to a couple of points in the river and stopped. We were able to see the dolphins, which was the highlight of the boat ride. The captain was adept, but the rest of the crew was not as professional and they all hung out together in a small group and talked and laughed. I would love to take another ride in the river area, but I would not choose this company to do it with. | ||||||

| I have lived in Charleston for three years, and I have been eyeing going on this tour many times. During the summer it books fast, so I never got around to it on my "Things to Do in Charleston List"; but last week on a whim, I decided to book the sail for my family. My mom has been through a lot this year and it seemed a good outing for her, and I thought romantic for my husband and I as well. October was the perfect time to go: cool air, beautiful suset, dolphins, and the peaceful lull of the ocean, and not at all too tourist oriented. Just you and your loved ones, and the beautiful scenery; looked at in your own pace. It was the most relaxed I have seen my mom in over ten years, and that for me was priceless. Thank You Pride! | ||||||

| trip was relaxing. Scenery was beautiful. Sunset cruise then back to dock in the dark. Had a good time. Don't ask the crew where to find blue crabs to eat after the cruise, otherwise they had good stories. | ||||||

| My wife picked this activity for the day. It's best not to argue! The temp. was in the 70's, the sky was blue, the wind was 10 knots. You can purchase beer or wine on the boat! How can you go wrong. We sailed around the harbor and had a great time. We talked with people we would never had met. The crew and captain were great . Why not spend some time on the water and get a whole new view of Charleston. | ||||||

| It was our first time on a sailboat and it was a BLAST! The crew was great and very knowledgeable of the sites and the city's history. Helping the crew with the sails was fun and was an extra perk to the criuse. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would definitely do it again. Leon Miller Wichita, KS | ||||||

| I highly recommend this activity. The boat wasn't at fully capacity, so we had plenty of room to stretch out. The crew was very nice and were locals, so they knew the area well. This is not a guided tour, but whenever the crew is not actually working the boat, they are willing to talk about the area from history to dining recommendations. I wish there had been more wind as we motored for about a third of the trip, but that is certainly not the Pride's fault! Make sure to bring a jacket, as it can get chilly on the bay. | ||||||

| Our girls' vacation to Charleston was a blast...we had a great time on the tall ship. The crew was knowledgeable and easy to be around and they even let me hoist a sail! It was fun. The champagne was terrific...lots of dolphin sightings. The only bummer, though no fault of the crew, was there was no sunset to see as it was cloudy. I would definitely do it again. | ||||||

| The weather for our sail was threatening and most of the passengers were wary of setting sail under dark gloomy skies. The captain and crew assured us the radar indicated it was safe to sail and we should not experience any rain. They were right and we enjoyed a two hour uneventful cruise. We saw dolphins and enjoyed the view of Charleston from the water. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if there had been some sort of narration during the trip. We were not given any sort of map or information indentifying our course or what we were looking at from the boat. With the rich naval history in Charleston, there is so much to learn about and this would have been a good opportunity to pick up some interesting tidbits of information. If it is impractical to hire a "tour guide" for the cruise, headsets like the ones available in art museums would be a reasonable alternative. | ||||||
