Fun and beautiful sailing activity!

My husband and I attended this sunset sailing cruise on our honeymoon trip to Charleston. What fun! The boat was beautiful and a lot of fun to sail on, open to the water, and different than getting on the typical "ferry" type boat. The crew was fun and knowledgable about the city and locations we passed by, but it wasn't a narrated tour. They simply left you alone to enjoy the cruise but would happily chat and answer questions if you wished. Everyone was in close proximity, which made me happy that we chose an evening sail and no children were present. It was a lot of couples or groups of couples, and it was nice to have an "all adults" sunset cruise. Kids would love it too, but maybe moreso during the daytime cruises. The evening ones serve alcohol and seem more adult oriented. We passed by many beautiful landmarks, historical areas, and even saw several dolphins! It was a lovely way to spend 2 hours and see Charleston from the water. Highly recommend!

The highlight of my trip to Charleston.

The Schooner Pride sunset cruise was the highlight of my trip to Charleston. Booking through Zerve was easy and hassle free with a friendly, knowledgable staff member who answered all of my questions. The Schooner Pride crew was friendly and proffessional. The passengers were all given informative pamphlets with information about Charleston, the schooner, and a diagram/description of buildings in the Charleston skyline. There were maybe 12-15 people on the cruise (not including crew) which was a big plus since I do not like to be in a large crowd of people. The small number of people made for a quiet relaxing cruise perfect for sunset. Our tour took us past Fort Sumpter and the Battery.

Sail is easy paced and thoroughly enjoyable, gliding around Charleston Harbor. Schooner is clean, and Captain & crew experienced and friendly. Love being able to assist with the sailing. Two hours too short!

An Awesome Trip

The schooner Pride is a great way to see Charleston, especially at sunset. The crew is attentive, but doesn't bombard with you information like some other tourist activities. This activity is for you if you like the open sea and / or low-key, relaxing sight-seeing events.

I would like to start by saying from the first moment I called to book the cruise, the company was very professional, easy to talk to, making the booking process a cinch. Once boarding the sailboat, the crew were all so nice, so authentic. The entire cruise was very relaxing, entertaining and informative. We all would highly recommend the cruise and hope to get the chance to do so again!! Thank you!

Wonderful Experience

This was a wonderful experience. It was great the crew enlisted the help of some of the passengers to hoist the sails. Only recommendation is to have less guests especially since most people would want this to be more of an intimate romantic time as a couple.

The crew was expert and friendly. The weather was just windy enough to make the sailing fun, and the sunset behind the Charleston skyline was beautiful.

Great way to see Charleston

Took a memorable Wednesday afternoon cruise - what a wonderful way to see Charleston and feel the sea breeze and hear the sails rippling in the wind - recommend walking around the historic district first so you have some perspective on what you are seeing. We found the sail an exhilarating experience and highly recommend it to any one with a sense of adventure!

My mom and i had never been to charleston before and i love sailing ships, but have never been on one. we were kinda sad because it was cloudy when we left but the sun started peaking through at sunset and it was beautiful! It was one of the top three highlights of our trip. you also get to help them hoist the sails and we got to see dolphins jump and play around the boat. it was a little chilly so i would say bring a jacket, but they also provide blankets. the crew is awesome too. I highly recommend the Pride!
