Cruise very relaxing but please ban cell phones - phone cameras OK because they don't make noise, but you are on a boat and other people's conversations carry only too well over water. And you really should not charge your passengers for water. Soft drinks - Yes: Water - No. This "freebie" would be worth thousands in positive PR. Also your rain policy stinks - had it rained this particular night, my out of town guest would have lost her $42 as there is no chance of her returning to take another cruise. Even if the Cruise Company cancels because of weather, the passenger does not get a refund. This stinks and frankly if I go again with a guest, I will wait until I get to the dock to buy a ticket - better to take chance no place on boat, than pay for trip that isn't going to happen because of the weather. Plus the $2.00 processing fee seems to be really a charge levied to recoup the fee charged by the credit card company - right? |

This is the second time I've been aboard the Schooner Pride. The first was for a sunset sail, which was so beautiful and relaxing. This time was for the afternoon dolphin sail. I couldn't be more happy with the polite, interesting, and knowledgeable crew, the wonderful sail boat, and the whole experience. If you are looking for 2 hours of relaxation and beautiful views, this is the place you will find it! |

Not a real windy day so it was a pretty slow sail, but the crew was great and the added cannon firing was a lot of fun. |

The schooner is lovely, and the cruise is very pleasant although nothing exceptional - two hours out to near Fort Sumter and then back to the dock. You don't really get a great view of the Charleston waterfront, since the sun sets to the west and you sail to the east of the city, but the sunset is lovely. Plus, of course, the temperatures are significantly cooler than on land so for us who were in Charleston in late June for a conference, it was a very nice short escape. |

A perfect activity for all ages! Anyone wishing to find something different to do while visiting the beautiful city of Charleston should definitely check out the schooner sail of the harbor. The sunset and scenery of the city are incredibly picturesque! Fun outing for anyone whether from out of town or a native to the low country! Awesome and friendly staff who make sailing on a schooner loads of fun. Check it out! Not to be missed! |

We have lived in the Charleston area for three years and have been wanting to sail on the Schooner Pride ever since the first time we saw it in the harbor so I bought tickets for my husband and daughter and myself to go on Father's Day and we had such a wonderful time on our tour. The captain and crew were fantastic and answered any questions that we had about the boat or the landmarks that we were passing and the cool breeze on the water was a welcome relief from the sweltering afternoon heat. We were a little concerned that one of us may suffer from seasickness but the Pride is amazingly stable and barely rocks at all so were very happy about how smooth the boat glides over the water. Our family had an excellent experience and can not wait to do it again with some of our other family and friends. We do not have enough words to express how peaceful and calming the experience was for all of us and my husband told me later that evening that there is no way I will be able to top this gift for any future Father's Days. |
