Relaxing & Romantic sail through Charleston Harbor

The evening was perfect ... gentle breeze and a colorful evening sunset. The crew was friendly and it was fun watching them set sail. We plan on doing this again for sure!

Awesome time

For a change of pace, this is far more relaxing than other tours around Charleston Bay. No captain on a PA system drowning out everything but the engines. Peaceful and quiet with nothing but the wind and the waves. You have ample time to take numerous photos. They serve adult beverages if you should want some. My only regret, not doing the sunset sail. Will certainly try if we are back here in the future.

It was wonderful, I would reccomend this cruise

The Captain was great, we started out with a sunny sky but rain in the distance, the Captain sailed us around the rain, the four of us put this cruise ontop of the list on things that we did in Charleston.

First time to sail in a schooner. Captain and crew very nice, informative and wanted everyone to be comfortable and have a good time. Impressed by the amount of history they knew and their willingness to answer questions. Would definitely sail again.

Because the weather was partly cloudy the day was cold. Otherwise the trip was okay. Crew was friendly.

My husband and I visit Charleston every Spring and have enjoyed several water excursions. This was our favorite so far, the sail was relaxing and beautiful, the captain and crew were friendly and gracious. We will definitely do this again, well worth the price!

Weather Problems
Wed, Apr 3  3:00 PM ThomasDaly Male 70+ Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
My wife and I along with our two grandsons were registered for the sail but the weather proved to be too much for us. We went to the dock where we were in hopes the weather would let up but it didn't. We were deeply disappointed but we felt it was not a good idea for us or our grandsons. A must do activity
Sun, Mar 31  2:00 PM fenwick Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
My husband, 3 children and myself booked the schooner sailboat ride out of Charleston, S.C. It was well worth it! The crew was friendly and even included anyone who wanted to help raise the sails. Once the four sails were raised, they cut the engine and we sailed throughout the harbor. The crew took us out past Ft. Sumpter and gave a short history lesson. There were even dolphins! It was gorgeous and I highly recommend it. We even took our dog on board.

Needs narration

Service by the crew was great, the saling was great but it really needs narration to add to the enjoyment. I did not feel the cruise was worth the $45 per person charge.
