Charleston Schooner Pride LLC

We had a fantastic day. The weather was perfect with plenty of sun & wind. Our crew was very friendly and spent a lot of time talking with us and answering questions. Overall a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Charleston!

The 3-person crew was great! It isn't a tour but a sailing trip on a schooner (replica) around the harbor. Beautiful views of the Charlston skyline. They offer all sailors the chance to help out with the sails and steering which the kids all really seemed to enjoy.

When you're in a city like Charleston, you really need to get out on the water. There is no better way to do that than the Schooner Pride. We took the sunset cruise, and enjoyed a magnificent time of day on the water, but I've taken the afternoon sail, too, on a different visit. Actually, I enjoy this trip each visit to the city. You can't go wrong any time of day!

They mentioned food available on board, but it was only pretzels and soda/beer/wine. A group nearby had brought their own snacks and seemed to have a wonderful time with the soda/beer/wine available with their own food. I know quality of the sunset is a crap shoot, but we happened to have a beautiful one, and the captain handled the ship smoothly so we were able to enjoy the trip wtih no apprehension at all.

We went on this sunset cruise for our 6th anniversary and between the peaceful waters and the romantic colors it was perfect. We even got to catch a glimpse of some dolphins playing nearby which only added to the beauty of the evening. I would highly reccommend this to everyone.

We as a couple have been sailing on the Pride for many years and most of them were sunset tours. We enjoy it, it is a relaxing way to see the City of Charleston from the water at sundown, lovely views of the historic district with the sun going down behind old Charleston. Give this trip a go, you won't forget it! Take it from a couple who have done it over 14 times!

My husband and I went to Charleston for our anniversary and this was the highlight of our trip besides great food at local restaurants. The weather was perfect and it was so relaxing. We are avid sailers and would highly recommend this cruise line to others.

I think it's an outstanding way to see Charleston. It's relaxing and the crew was informative but didn't narrate the tour which we liked. We did the Sunset cruise which provided me with some fantastic Charleston skyline sunset pictures~

Just the fact that I do this regularly says how much I think of it. Keep in mind it is a SAILING vessel, so some trips are better than others just because the wind is better. However, every trip has been enjoyable and offers a unique chance to see Charleston from the harbor.

My wife and I enjoyed the sail very much. It was a beautiful but very windy day. Although we could not go out far from shore, it was very relaxing. The crew was very skilled and attentive.

I've been out on the Pride twice now...and it has been a wonderful experience both times! I highly recommend going out on this tour. The staff is professional and helpful and the views are lovely.

Living in Charleston, I had already been on the Schooner Pride so knew what a wonderful experience it is and wanted to share it with my visiting family members from California and Georgia. There is nothing quite like being out sailing in the Charleston Harbor, and being out to catch the sunset is an added bonus. Everyone had a great time!!!

My wife and I loved the cruise. She was afraid of getting seasick, but the Pride is as stable a vessel as any I've been on. It was fun helping hoist the sails and the weather was entertaining as well. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable and talked about anything that came up. We saw dolphin, stingrays, jellyfish, seagulls and pelicans. We got to watch commercial freight working, which is a personal joy for me, and we got to see Fort Sumter from fairly close up. It was the best 2 hour trip we've been on and well worth the reasonable price. I would gladly do it again and recommend it to all my friends.

Very pleasant crew - helpful and enthusiastic. Ship was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the sunset voyage. Wish more information was shared but in fairness it was not a narrated tour. Would do it again!

Climb aboard the Pride Schooner and prepare to enjoy a drink, a snack, and the beautiful view of the Charleston harbor in the evening. Sail on for 2 hours as the sunsets.
