Perfect

Great crew, great boat, great weather. I loved the fact that the crew was very knowlegeable if you had questions, but they didn't just rattle off information for no reason. A nice breeze is noise enough for me. Perfect way to view the harbor.

Nice relaxing tour of harbor

It was a nice relaxing tour. The adults liked it better than the children, they became a little board with it, since it was 2 full hours. It would be nice to hear a little more information about the sights, but the crew was very courteous and tried to answer any questions we had. I would recommend it for adults who want something different and to experience the sail boat travel.

Relaxing and Beautiful

The night started off with a ride out into the harbor without the sail. After about 30 min. the captain turned the engine off, the sails were hoisted and we floated through the harbor. The sunset was gorgeous and the staff very friendly. The staff did a great job getting blankets for those people who were cold (and it did get chilly!). The only problems I had was that we returned to the port before the sun was completely set and there were more people on the boat than I thought there would be (which made it loud and took away from the romance of the sunset). However, I would do it again, but just make sure I got a good seat in the middle of the boat.

We had a great time. Weather was perfect! After 2 days of traveling, this was so relaxing. The crew were very helpful and friendly. Our group consisted of my husband and I, our 31 year old daughter and 30 year old son. We all raved about the the excursion all day. Thanks for a fantastic tour!

great trip

Our recent trip on the Schooner Pride was exactly what we were looking for. A casual, relaxing cruise around the harbor. The staff was very friendly, pointing out the islands and a little bit about the history of the area. We would definitely recommend this to our friends.

We sailed the coast of Maine for 15 years but now we are retired and living in SC. It was a pleasant visit back to the coastal waters of the east coast and we took that opportunity to take a ride on a nice day with one of our grandchildren. We all had a nice time.We particularly enjoyed the conversations with members of the crew. Thanks. Jon and Mary Davis

A Great Sail!

We thoroughly enjoyed our sail on the Schooner Pride. It was relaxing, yet invigorating. We were able to view many of the landmarks that we've become familiar with from the perspective that early settlers, invading sailors, and present-day ships see as they approach this historic port. The mates were helpful and gave us useful information. But, were never overbearing. The trip was just under 2 hours, which was perfect for us, as it did not take up an entire day of our short vacation. It was easy to get tickets online, and easy to find, board and enjoy!

Great way to enjoy an evening in Charleston

Took a group of business associates on the Schooner Pride. The trip was just the right length, and afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the city of Charleston. They allowed us to bring on our own food, and they served a wide variety of beverages. Overall, great value and an enjoyable way to spend the early evening.

Nice Laid Back Trip

This was a truly enjoyable trip on the Schooner Pride. The crew was helpful and fun. We don't like the "in your face tour guides", so this was perfect for us.

Loved sailing on the Pride

Our sunset sail on the Pride was delightful. Volunteers helped raise the sails, which was fun. With the sails up, we quietly sailed out of Charleston Harbor, past Fort Sumter. The crew were skillful and friendly.

it was enjoyable, but being rescheduled wasn't

We really enjoyed the sail. The crew was very nice and willing to answer questions. We moved here a few months ago, so it was a chance to finally get a different perspective of Charleston. I do have to say we were quite disappointed the first time we tried to go out,the previous Wednesday. It was our Anniversary and we had a special night planned around the sail. We didn't hear it was cancelled until we were already there. I had no idea there was even a chance for cancellation, you should put that on the ticket. Other than that, I would do it again. Thanks, Michelle

Sunset Sail is Wonderful
Sun, May 18, 08   6:30 PM sewgoode Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
We had never been sailing before and after this sunset sail, we have fallen totally in love with sailing. The crew made us feel very comfortable and answered any questions we had. Our two hour cruise seemed all too short. When we were approaching the dock, the sun was setting over Charleston and the view was really beautiful. We will be taking this tour again and again.

Loved it, would do it again!

The only thing I didn't like about it was they didn't really explain anything while we were sailing. But my understanding from the website is that they would explain the history of South Carolina while you were sailing, but they didnt. But other than that it was a great experience!
