| The Schooner Pride was a gorgeous little cruise around the harbor. There wasn't much wind, so it was just a gentle sail watching the sun set and the other boats cruise past. I'd recommend stopping at a local grocery store or the wine and cheese shop in town and make up a basket for yourselves. They do serve soda and mini bottle wine on the ship too. But, since it's the dinner hour, it was nice to have the wine and cheese basket with me. Know that the captain does suggest a tip to the crew, which is a surprise after paying your ticket and not something I've seen other places for harbor cruises. Friends I made on my business trip joined me and we all thought it was a highlight of our stay in Charleston! | ||||||

| We sailed on Schooner Pride on Sept. 9, 2009 for the sunset sail. We were promptly boarded and the crew was very friendly and knowledgable. The crew was very willing to answer any questions but didn't bombard you with a constant narration. The sail was very relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend Schooner Pride to anyone wanting a great experience on the water. We will defnitely sail on Schooner Pride again. | ||||||

| I was reading info prior to our recent Charleston vacation and this activity had very good reviews and advertising. It indicated that it would be a tour of the Charleston harbor which I thought would include some commentary and go by some of the beautiful buildings and homes in the city, give some history or some anecdotes. Turns out we never saw any of the city up close except the not so scenic part where we departed. The boat trip was very quiet, slow, and boring. We just motored out into the water for awhile, raised the sails and did a small amount of sailing, then turned around and headed back in. They lowered the sails and we motored back. It was all very boring and the crew just occupied themselves with odd jobs around the boat after selling drinks to everyone. They answered questions when asked but didn't seem particularly interested in or proud of the local area. | ||||||

| Took the sunset cruise and it was the perfect end to a long day of taking in so much historical information. The cruise was not narrated but the captain did point out points of interest and answered questions. Being my first time on a sailboat and one not comfortable on water, I was surprised at how relaxing it was. The captain and those handling the sails of Schooner Pride were impressive. Takes lots of skill and strength. | ||||||

| We recently had the opportunity to take a sunset cruise aboard the Schooner Pride. If you or your significant other like sailing or the water in any way, there is no better thing to check off your list than a ride on this boat. It was impeccably clean and well kept and really did look as majestic as the pictures on the website if not better. Where most tours (such as carriage tours) you would want the crew to point out various sites, a tour like this, especially at sunset is more of an intimate venue and the crew was wonderful. They did not act like tour guides and kept talking to a minimum but would answer any questions that anyone asked them regarding the various sites. In addition, they were more than friendly when offering drinks from menu and were quick and courteous to accomodate anyone wishing to order. As for the sights, we went on a day where the weather was perfect and saw probably the most beautiful sunset either of us had experienced in a long time. We experienced and saw many things on our trip to Charleston and this was, by far, the absolute best of them all, as well as lasting memory for the both of us. I highly highly recommend the Schooner Pride, in particular the sunset cruise, for anyone wishing to visit Charleston and/or create a special romantic moment that you both will remember forever...... | ||||||

| While the captain made it clear it was not a narrated tour, we expected some information about some landmark and charleston history. The captain barely spoke for 2-3 minutes, seemed really rude when answering questions asked and was uninterested. The couple of helpers were very polite. Waste of time. | ||||||

| It was an awesome time with an awesome crew. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable when asked questions. We couldn't have asked for a better day for the trip, and the time flew by quickly. We were able to see many sights, although not individually, from a distance, but it was worth it on the beautiful boat. Definitely a unique tour, as it isn't performed on a double deck, tour boat. Its more personal and elegant. I would definitely recommend and look forward to going back. | ||||||

| My fiance and I thought this would be a great way to see Charleston. The views are great but I thought the boat was alittle too crowded and the crew was not too professional. The ride could have been better if the captain would have narrated at certain points. I came away disappointed. | ||||||

| We had a great time on the daytime sail. The weather turned out to be great for sailing - clear, not too hot, nice breeze. The crew was great. They asked for volunteer to help raise the sails, so I got a quick lesson in sailing. Don't expect a guided tour, because the narration is minimal. But for a relaxing time, it can't be beat. | ||||||

| Don't waste your time, effort or money! These folks motored out to the center of the harbor and then drifted back to the dock. They have no sailing skills. The highlight of this 2 hours was a semi-cool canned soda (also at a hefty charge). Their lack of information goes hand-in-hand with their lack of interest in working with the public. One of the three crew members took no measure to show his disdain for what he was doing that day. Lackluster and without interest for those who became a captive audience. Disembarking was the best relief. | ||||||
