It was a nice sail but I think we were expecting a little more. It would have been nice if the crew told us what we were seeing along the shore line. They were more interested in selling drinks than telling us about the local history. I got the feeling they have been doing this for a long time, maybe too long. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset sail on the schooner Pride, even though it was cloudy and there wasn't a sunset that we could see. Crew were informative and friendly. Would definitely take this sail again. |

Enjoyable sunset sail. My husband helped with the sails and I enjoyed letting the world pass by. The crew is extremely well trained and always there to answer questions and make the trip enjoyable for all. Highly recommend. |

My first experience on the Schooner Pride! My third visit to Charleston, SC...I have experienced many excursions and most will be a one time only experience....HOWEVER....a second Schooner Pride sail is forthcoming! I particularly liked that the experience was not narrated; made for a most enjoyable and peaceful experience! Crew was fantastic; intermingled and answered questions readily! I will and have highly recommended this to all! |

This was a nice experience on a rather beautiful sailing ship. We didn't sail anywhere in particular, just in the bay, but we got up some pretty good speed and experienced the wind whipping through the sails and the sea breeze blowing on our faces. There was no commentary, which was a welcome break after all the narrated tours. It was fun to watch the crew tending the sails. They invited anyone who wanted to help set the sails, but there was only one volunteer. Overall, this was a good experience for the price. |

This was a fun boat ride with a fabulous captain and crew and the lovely sunset topped it off. We only saw dolphins briefly so that was disappointing but otherwise it was awesome! |

Captain and crew were friendly, but, didn't feel the need to clutter the air with mindless chatter. Made the cruise so very very enjoyable. |

The Sunset Harbor Cruise on the Pride was very pleasant. The crew made us feel welcome and relaxed, they made safety a priority and conducted themselves well. It was amazing to see how a 3-person crew could take care of all the intricacies of running a fully rigged schooner, serve beverages, talk about the Charleston area and the wildlife, as well as answer questions and just chat pleasantly with the passengers. My husband really enjoyed helping to hoist the sails. The views of Charleston, Ft. Sumter, The Yorktown aircraft carrier were great. It was fun to see the dolphins swimming and the white ibises flying to their evening roosts. The cable-stay bridge, the Yorktown and Charleston lights coming on in the afterglow of sunset, was a nice finish to our cruise. |

Very organized, great crew - friendly and attentive, drink service available is appropriate for the activity.
One suggestion: Provide a small step for those that have difficulty with the large step. Crew was accomodating, but it would have been nice to have been able to sit with the family. |
