| Great trip good crew. Would have prefered to sail and tack more instead of using the motor all the way out to Ft. Sumter. Please consider cutting out the music completely. It was a BIG distraction to hearing the wind, waves, sails and mast creaking. I can hear all of that I want on land. I would recommend the trip to friends. Unforgetable sunset over Charleston. | ||||||

| I am a Charlestonian, but hadn't taken the Schooner Pride before. It provides a great perspective of the beautiful city of Charleston. The weather was ideal and the crew was friendly and professional. I agree with other reviewers that a bit of patter by the crew about the sights would be helpful. The little bit of information provided was very helpful, especially to first time visitors. The ambiance and wonderful experience of a tall-ship sail at sunset with a gorgeous city as background is well worth the fare. Thanks. | ||||||

| Its a great way to spend two hours on a nice day. I was most impressed with the drinks. They kept bringing us beers and when we got the tab, it was like 12 dollars for 8 beers. Had we drank on the waterfront, our tab alone would have been what we paid for for the tickets. | ||||||

| My husband and I, along with some other friends took the evening cruise. We highly recommend going! It was the highlight of our trip to Charleston. The crew is very relaxed and knowledgable. The two hours flew by. | ||||||

Dream sail

| We boarded the Schooner right on time, the captain gave a brief overview of the trip and the vessel and introduced his 2 crew members and we were off. They asked for volunteers to hoist sail and the sail was absolutely wonderful! No real guided tour stuff, it was just a fantastic sail around the harbor, the captain and crew answered questions and provided information about the boat when asked.... we saw seabirds and dolphins galore. The gentleness and the absence of the normal banter was a wonderful treat, there was soft shanty music playing and the sunset was beautiful against the charleston skyline. I would enthusiastically recommend this to anyone who is just looking for a beautiful quiet sail aboard an historic schooner with nature and the majestic views as entertainment. | ||||||

| There were 10 of us on this sail and we all had a wonderful time. We are from the area and know Charleston pretty well but had never done something like this. I would recommend it for people coming from out of town but also for people from Charleston. I had a great time and will probably do this again with other friends. | ||||||

| We are from Asheville, North Carolina. This was our second vacation trip to Charleston, but our first sail on the Schooner Pride. We chose to sail during the daytime just to SEE what all we were doing, especially when the crew asks for volunteers to trim the sails. Kids and adults alike were all just jumping at the chance to participate! My boyfriend was the first to put his hand up to volunteer - and he is 53! I chose to cruise along by sitting on the deck and watch all the action. This experience was also very relaxing. By good chance, we saw dolphins playing in the waters near the boat. It was easy to get swept away by the experience. Stunning views; beautiful, lolling harbor waves; warm Charleston winds; friendly crew and captain... all of this made the Schoonner Pride sail one of our favorite and most memorable things we got to do during our visit. We are DEFINITELY going to sign up on our next trip to Charleston, and next time we will sail the seas in the Sunset Sail aboard the Schooner Pride. We can't wait! | ||||||

| My family members and I strongly applaud this kind of organized activity & fantastic opportunity to get know more about Charleston, its area, marine traditions, and skills of local sailors. So, if time and weather allow... we will board that ship again.. Thank you very much! We had a lot of fun! | ||||||

| The ride was great. We went out on night when the wind was not good for sailing. This was my first time on sail boat and will not be my last. The weather was great and seas were calm. | ||||||

| Our outing on the Scooner Pride was exactly what my niece and I needed. There is a special peace that only sailing can bring to the soul. Feeling the wind and hearing only the sound of the water and the clinking of the sails helped us remember how wonderful those simple things really are. | ||||||

| I surprised my husband with the Sunset Sail for his birthday, and it was perfect. We'd both been going nonstop recently, stressed out with work and school and travel, and he didn't want me to make a big deal out of his birthday. So I rounded up another couple that we are close friends with and the four of us went on the sail. The winds were light, the water calm, the sunset through the clouds over the city skyline was utterly gorgeous. It was a bit expensive, but worth it for such a special occasion. | ||||||

| Having never been on a sailboat before, I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the cruise was. We sailed at 6:30 in warm and sunny weather. When the motors were stopped and the sails raised, the cruise was very quiet and the sunset stunning. I would highly recommend this cruise. | ||||||
