The sail was enjoyable. The winds were light but sufficient to move us along the water. The deckhands were willing to answer questions. We did see a few dolphins but I would not characterize it as a dolphin sail. It is a harbor sail. The only downside was our sail was full which made for a full boat. Most of the seating was taken which made us less inclined to move about. If you are lucky enough to catch a sail which is not full I think the sail could be even more enjoyable. We would recommend the sail to others. |

We really enjoyed our ride on the Schooner Pride. The weather was perfect and it was a great day to sail. As others noted, it is not a narrated ride and that is OK. When the crew were asked any questions, they gave detailed answers and pointed out interesting sites. We have 3 children with the oldest being 11. They became a little fidgety towards the end. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. |

The trip was nice! We thought that there should have been some narrative given while on the tour. Some of the guests were able to ask questions while others were never given the chance to hear.. Overall we enjoyed it.
Bring bug spray for the no see bugs, we got bit up all over .... |

Great evening for a sailboat ride through Charleston Harbor. Placid waters, good crew, seasoned captain and pleasant company. Bring your snacks, they provide the beverages. Enjoyable 2 hours, which seemed to pass too quickly. |

Peaceful evening sail with enough wind to fill the sails. Sunset about halfway through with moderate overcast. Good way to unwind at the end of a busy week. |

Good cruise - very low key. It would have been good if the crew had whipped up the water that was on all the seats after it had rained - everyone was sorta looking around for towels or paper towels when we first got on the boat. Other than that, it was a nice cruise! |

It was our first time on a sailboat and it was a BLAST! The crew was great and very knowledgeable of the sites and the city's history. Helping the crew with the sails was fun and was an extra perk to the criuse. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would definitely do it again.

The weather for our sail was threatening and most of the passengers were wary of setting sail under dark gloomy skies. The captain and crew assured us the radar indicated it was safe to sail and we should not experience any rain. They were right and we enjoyed a two hour uneventful cruise. We saw dolphins and enjoyed the view of Charleston from the water. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if there had been some sort of narration during the trip. We were not given any sort of map or information indentifying our course or what we were looking at from the boat. With the rich naval history in Charleston, there is so much to learn about and this would have been a good opportunity to pick up some interesting tidbits of information. If it is impractical to hire a "tour guide" for the cruise, headsets like the ones available in art museums would be a reasonable alternative. |

We were married on the Scooner Pride 12 years ago and it was a great place to reunite with the wedding party. We ended up taking the 3:00 PM trip and the water was a little rough, however, the Pride did not toss and roll like I thought it would. It handled the waves just fine and no one got sick. I highly recommend this vessel and her crew. |

We totally enjoyed sailing on the Schooner Pride. The crew was was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. This was the highlight of our vacation to Charleston. This sailing adventure was very relaxing and peaceful. No noisy motors running on the return leg of the trip, just the sound of wind on sail. We highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Charleston. You won't be sorry!!! |
