They mentioned food available on board, but it was only pretzels and soda/beer/wine. A group nearby had brought their own snacks and seemed to have a wonderful time with the soda/beer/wine available with their own food. I know quality of the sunset is a crap shoot, but we happened to have a beautiful one, and the captain handled the ship smoothly so we were able to enjoy the trip wtih no apprehension at all. |

When you're in a city like Charleston, you really need to get out on the water. There is no better way to do that than the Schooner Pride. We took the sunset cruise, and enjoyed a magnificent time of day on the water, but I've taken the afternoon sail, too, on a different visit. Actually, I enjoy this trip each visit to the city. You can't go wrong any time of day! |

The 3-person crew was great! It isn't a tour but a sailing trip on a schooner (replica) around the harbor. Beautiful views of the Charlston skyline. They offer all sailors the chance to help out with the sails and steering which the kids all really seemed to enjoy. |

We had a fantastic day. The weather was perfect with plenty of sun & wind. Our crew was very friendly and spent a lot of time talking with us and answering questions.
Overall a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Charleston! |

When family and friends visit Charleston we always take them out on Schooner Pride. The ride is enjoyable and it provides a great prospective on Charleston and its history--the distance to Ft. Sumter and Ft. Johnson, as well as the beautiful harbor. |

Peaceful, worthwhile activity - a great way to see Charleston from a different view. The crew was fantastic, totally
accommodating to whatever you might want. One caution - this is not a narrated tour, so you have to ask the crew or look at the flyer they hand out to know what you're seeing. This adds to the overall relaxing nature of the cruise
though, because there isn't the drone of a guide. There were all ages (including elderly) and would be a super activity with kids. Do it! |

Cruise and staff was excellent.Make sure you eat something before you go out, because there are no food places down near the schooner. The schooner has snacks and drinks only. |

We took a small picnic because of time of evening. Everyone was efficient and the evening beautiful. Would liked to have sailed up the Ashley toward marina to see sunset but it was a fun experience. |

We enjoyed our time very much. The crew was very friendly and socialized with everyone aboard. The weather was perfect, would of liked a longer time sailing. Only negitive comment is that it was a little crowded we weren't able to sit all together with the members we came on board with. |

Too many people or not enough seats, I am not sure.
The trip was great but we had no place to sit (as did the couple after us).
We couldn't explore the vessel as noone else moved from their cramped spots. |

The Crew was very accommodating but it would have been nice for someone to point out the landmarks shown on the harbor map that was provided. |

You can't get a better view of the whole harbor and the city. As promised the dolpins swam along with us. Our six year old thought the sailors were amazing and got help hoist a sail. He can't stop talking about it. We will go again the next time we are in Charleston. |

If you want to run from the stress in your life, go out on the water in a sailing ship. This Sunset Sail was fantastic. So quiet and soothing. We were blessed with a wonderful sunset, good companionship, terrific crew and captain. Going where the wind blows is the best prescription for a life of calm and bliss. |
