It is a bit expensive to take a sail on the Schooner Pride but it was worth it. We enjoyed a two hour sail in the Charleston harbor. It was relaxing and low key and utterly fabulous. |

This was a wonderful experience. It was great the crew enlisted the help of some of the passengers to hoist the sails. Only recommendation is to have less guests especially since most people would want this to be more of an intimate romantic time as a couple. |

We enjoyed our sunset cruise a great deal. The evening we went out, the sunset was so spectacular, even the crew were taking photos. The boat is great, and we enjoyed watching them hoist the sails. Seeing all of Charleston harbor and the homes along the coast was just lovely. We also enjoyed seeing the dolphins swimming about and the birds all coming to roost for the night at the abandoned fort.
We were not sure we were going to make the boat because our arrival into town was delayed. I'm so glad we didn't miss it! |

The Schooner Pride is a good way to explore Charleston harbor. We had a windy sunset sail, ideal conditions. The crew was friendly and informative with a good sense of humor. Our party of four included an gent who relies on a cane, but he had no problem getting on the boat and maneuvering around. I highly recommend the sail for locals as well as visitors--we were taking visiting family out, but enjoyed it just as much ourselves. I'd go again |

The crew was great. They put up the sails about 30 minutes into the cruise so the group could see how it is done. They were extremely i.hnformative and answered any questions the tour group had.
Beer and wine was served at a reasonable $4 per each. The crew was very sociable with the tour group and if you are a social drinker and sometimes a smoker, you will love this 2 hour sail down the river, into the bay and back.
It was a cloudy night yet the full moon came out long enough to light up the waters and cast moonshadows on the boat. Great for pictures. You will love this cruise. |

The sailing was very nice; however, we did seem to go in a circle several times. I'm not sure how/what restrictions are on boats with passengers, but it would have been nice to not go past the same things several times. The Captain and crew were very nice and appeared to be competent. I would suggest that the Captain or one of the crew point out several things of interest. If asked, all questions were answered. I would also suggest some sketches/drawings/pictures of the ship be made available for purchase - it would have been nice to have them with the sails full up. |

Myself, husband, my sister and her husband enjoyed our sunset cruise so much....the staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a beautiful evening and God treated us to a gorgeous sunset but very little wind. We enjoyed the peaceful cruise but also opportunity to ask about the sights. Other than little wind we had not complaints. We would have loved to have taken a picture of the Schooner Pride under sail. |

My wife and I read about the tour on the internet. It talked about what you would see and I have to tell you I didn't have a clue as to what I was looking at. We thought someone would kind of point out the different sites..........wrong. We would not recommend this cruise to any one.......sorry. This is the only cruise of any sort that did not explain anything to you. I think you need new help.......... |
