a good trip besides the ending

My husband and I really enjoyed the cruise. It was a beautiful day with a cool breeze, perfect for sailing. It was nice to be out on the bay. Even though at the end of the trip the boat got stuck in a sandbar and we had to be taxied to shore, the crew was very nice giving complimentary drinks and snacks, and working to get the boat off the sandbar and the passengers taken care of. It took about an hour to get back on shore, but I think the crew handled the situation very well. I would take this trip again and recommended it to others. The only reason I take away a star was because we got stuck since I hope in the future that wont happen.

Nice Trip Once.

Husband & I took 7 yr old neice. About 45 mins. into trip my neice started to get bored. She even laid down & tried to cover herself from the sun. I too, along with my husband, began to think this could be a long two hours. There was no breeze & the captain had to start the engines just so we could move & be back at the dock within our 2 hour time limit. After we got moving again, the atmosphere on the ship seemed to improve. I believe people were just so hot with no breeze we were all just trying to handle the heat. If you have good breezes it should be great. Children may get a little bored. Would not be interested in second visit.

We had a great time on the Pride Schooner. We saw a plenty of dolphins and enjoyed the day. The crew is great and treated us well. The day we went started rainy but ended up sunny and warm. We enjoyed the trip but were ready to get back to land at the end. All in all, a great trip!

Boat was great, the trip also was very nice. The only regret is that it's a very short ride and not a whole lot of sailing only 1/2hour the rest is sailing combine with engine. The route is not listed anywhere so there is not so much to decide, maybe optional routes would be best for those who like to ride more time. Captain and crew were very nice and knowledgeable people.

It was a very relaxed sail with great views of the Charleston Harbor, including Fort Sumter, the Battery, Patriots Point, and the Ravenel Bridge. The Captain and crew were knowledgeable and friendly. They handled the boat effiiciently, and were prompt to fill drink orders.

We enjoyed this trip very much. It was very relaxing and the weather was great. The captain & crew welcomed everyone as if you were family. What I really thought was great is they just let you relax and enjoy the sail without being "touristy". The views, including the Battery and Arthur Ravenel Bridge, were great!! We enjoyed seeing some dolphins. I would recommend this activity to anyone who may be planning a trip to Charleston.

We especially enjoyed this activity on the tall ship as it was environmentally friendly--using sail power most of the time, while we saw the harbor sights. Very relaxing and crew was helpful and friendly. I loved helping to raise the sails!

A relaxing trip & spectacular view of Charleston

This is the second time that we've taken a sail on the "Pride" and it was as delightful as ever. We had additional members of our family this trip, and wanted them to experience a sunset sail. We were able to sail closer to Ft. Sumter this trip, and that was a great change. The weather was beautiful and it was nice to interact by raising the sails (our daughter and son-in-law were able to do so) and to visit with the knowledgeable crew. I would recommend this special event to any and everyone.

This is a great experience for people of all ages. This was voted the childrens' favorite activity in Charleston. The adults also had a terrific time. What a peaceful way to end a busy day of sightseeing. Beautiful scenery and a gentle breeze .

Super Sail

Very clean and the crew was great. Drink/snack prices are reasonable. She's a beautiful boat and we had a wonderful time. The best part of sailing is that after you motor out and put up the sails, all you can hear is the swish swish of the water, but best of all, you can hear your conversation. Minimal heel, if any, so a very pleasant ride. Wear your sunscreen!
