Really enjoyed the sunset cruise. Crew was knowledgeable and very nice but left you alone enough to enjoy the cruise without too much interruption. Highly recommend.

Perfect day and good wind made this cruise especially nice. Crew was professional in every way. Will go again. Worth the price.

Very organized, great crew - friendly and attentive, drink service available is appropriate for the activity. One suggestion: Provide a small step for those that have difficulty with the large step. Crew was accomodating, but it would have been nice to have been able to sit with the family.

Beautliful sunset sail

Enjoyed the sail as it was a beautiful night and there was wind for sailing. $45.00 per person seemed a little expensive, though.

Although we saw several dolphins the trip was boring.Yes a handout was given to show you where the various sights were but there should have been some narration, information history, info about the dolphins, anything to keep our interest, the sailing was great and crew friendly

Wind in your hair, sails over your head, sea spray in your face, refreshments in your hand....what more can you ask for on a hot summer afternoon?? Oh, how about dolphins playing alongside the boat? Or sailing past Fort Sumter and historic Charleston? Wonderful!!

beautiful sail and the gorgeous bridge

I am usually quite cynical and disappointed by these activities. However, this dolphin sail was cleverly executed: plenty of harbor sights, all the way to Fort Sumter and plenty of cavorting dolphins and pelicans. Definitely worth it, ven for this New Yorker.

We loved the sunset sail ~ the crew was very informative and friendly; the harbor was so beautiful at sunset. Highly recommend it and would sail again on the Schooner Pride!

A perfect activity for all ages! Anyone wishing to find something different to do while visiting the beautiful city of Charleston should definitely check out the schooner sail of the harbor. The sunset and scenery of the city are incredibly picturesque! Fun outing for anyone whether from out of town or a native to the low country! Awesome and friendly staff who make sailing on a schooner loads of fun. Check it out! Not to be missed!

Key thing to do when in Charleston

I think it's an outstanding way to see Charleston. It's relaxing and the crew was informative but didn't narrate the tour which we liked. We did the Sunset cruise which provided me with some fantastic Charleston skyline sunset pictures~

What a wonderful time my sister and I had on our Sunset Sail. The Captain and Crew were great in every respect. The crew even brought out blankets as the night got cooler. I've make recommendations to several peoplel already!! Hope to do it again next year.

Nice Breezy Afternoon Sailing

This was a nice way to spend an afternoon. We saw some dolphins beside the ship almost as soon as we were out! My 14-yr-old daughter and I helped with putting the sails up and we really enjoyed it -- quite simple tasks. The rest of the trip was leisurely and the breeze was nice... and appreciated on a warm Charleston summer day. There was not much narrating but the crew were friendly and quite open to chatting about anything to do with the area and especially sailing and their experiences -- very interesting. We purchased their water and it was refreshingly ice-cold. I would do this trip again... perhaps the sunset cruise next time. :-)

Sunset Cruise
Wed, May 26, 10   7:00 PM SchreckM Unspecified Unspecified Unspecified Unspecified
We enjoyed the cruise and would recommend the cruise. We were not disappointed about the cruise not being a narrative cruise. The crew did engage with the guests. Another highlight of the cruise was the shooting of the cannon at sunset. The firing of the cannon drew a crowd from the shore. The only negative aspect of the cruise was the announcement from the captain about a tip for the crew at the end of the cruise. We spent $144 for the cruise plus drinks and snacks for a a family of 4 to take the cruise and felt we had spent enough money already.
