| We are a husband & wife celebrating our sixth wedding anniversary. We came from Houston, Texas and were looking for an experience we couldn't get at home. It was a great chance to get away from the kids! We really enjoyed spending the time together and learning about some of the local history. We had a great time and will tell anyone they MUST take a tour! The Fruge`s | ||||||

| NEED BETTER SIGNAGE - WAS ALMOST LATE BECAUSE COULD NOT FIND - LOTS OF SIGNAGE FOR OTHER CRUISES BUT NOTHING FOR THIS UNTIL YOU ARE THERE. The cruise was very pretty, but would be better if there were some history or more interraction by the crew, although the crew was v ery friendly. Your advertising gives the impressession there will be narration as to the area we are seeing and that we will get near Fort Sumter. We did not even get close to Fort Sumter. Probably will not do this again. | ||||||

| No value for the money. Boat left 20 minutes late for just a little kiddie ride around the harbor. I thought this was a joke. Old boat was not impressive, neither was the crew (except the woman Angela who seemed to have been the only hard worker and knew what needed to be done). Captain had the nerve to ask for tips for his crew. I found this insulting, especially since I felt I'd I already overpaid for what I got plus $1.75 for a tiny water bottle. There are definitely better rides on better boats for less money - next time. | ||||||

| It was thoroughly enjoyable. The crew was very friendly and helpful and it helps the sailing when there is a good wind but not windy. It was perfect. Looking forward to doing it again. | ||||||

| My wife & I expected that crew would share some of the history of the Charleston harbor. While very brief history was given, captain stated he was willing to answer any questions. He responded to questions asked and crew was very friendly and helpful. The sailboat tacked back & forth through the harbor which I realized was due to the prevailing winds, keeping the sailboat in a limited area rather than a cruise around the harbor. | ||||||

| The sail was an experience I did not have before, however... We left late, because we waited for paid passengers who could not make the departure time. The cruise was shorter than advertised also. Out of a total of 2 and one half hours that we were actually "away from the dock", the sails were only in place for about 2 hours. The remainder of the time we were taxiing out or returning to the dock via motor power! | ||||||

| Overall the sail was enjoyable even though the weather affected our ability to actually sail. Thank goodness for diesel engines. The ships' crew could have interacted with the passengers a little more. I think the sail would have been really exciting on a high wind day. If you are seeking history and narration go on the other boats. | ||||||

| We took an early evening sail across the harbor with a brisk breeze to the lee. We took one tack when we had sailed far enough to see the lighthouse. We came about as smoothly as one might imagine, and headed for the Ravenel Bridge. When we reached land to the starboard, we could have square-danced on the deck. The mates, in particular the young, dark fellow, engaged us in a lively conversation about the harbor's history. We were impressed. | ||||||

| We pre-bought our tickets the week ahead of time. The weather forcast said chance of showers every day but we figured the best we could do was book with a day to spair incase we could postpone a night if cancelled due to weather. Our first two days in town were drizzly and overcast but we were able to avoid getting serious rain except for on the boat. We got dumped on walking to it hoping it would be cancelled, then it stopped until 15 minutes into the trip for a good half hour rain. The crew was nice enough to hand out ponchos but the soaking was already through all clothing. I appreciated the poncho though because it probably saved our camera from getting damaged. Overall it was very nice, the crew was nice and we enjoyed it. The seating is basically a bench so be prepared for that and not chairs or any great back support. | ||||||

| My group and I had a wonderful time on the schooner. The crew was attentive and friendly. The only thing that we would have like was some short narration about the sites that we were passing. | ||||||
