lovely relaxing cruise on the river

| The crew was very nice and knowledgable about the area, the ship and its operation. They answered all our questions with detail and explantion. There were only a few of us on board, so the captian had plenty of time to chat with us. We were able to help with the hoisting of the sails, and steering the ship. It was a very relaxing 2 hour sail... lovely breeze, and sunshine. |

| Hi, this is tina, and i really enjoyded the boat ride, and its a smoth sailing, and relaxing event, i think any customers should trying this event, you will enjoy it as much as i did. I enjoy it so much im going to do it again and again. |

| Our group of 10 had a fun time chatting, but it was rather hot and not too exciting a time. The crew was too anxious to sell drinks and didn't give out any information unless asked . |

| We recently enjoyed the sail around the York. It is very relaxing but can be boring if there are people on board who do not engage in conversation. Luckily for me there were a few people who enjoyed talking.
There is not much to see on the water so perhaps more commentary from the staff would be beneficial. However it is a pleasant experience if you want to get away from a hectic daily pace. |

| We had a great time on this excursion. The weather was perfect. The crew was very professional and informative. I would recommend bringing sunscreen for sure as there is limited shade. If I had to think of a negative it would be that I thought it was a little short ( about 2 hours). My husband said he wished we would have went out further. Overall this is a great way to spend an afternoon. |

| THE SIGHTSEEING SAIL HAS A VERY CALM AND RELAXING AFFECT. HOWEVER, I WAS EXPECTING SOME SORT OF NARATION.
THE STAFF WAS ALSO VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. THEY INVOLVED THE CHILDREN IN HOISTING OF THE SAIL. MY GRANDCHILDREN WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS EXPERIENCE. |

| This was a special day for my husband and I.
We decided to take a Cruise for our 40th anniversary...a 2 hour trip on the beautiful York River was just what we wanted!
The Captain and crew were most pleasant and helpful. I happened to be in a wheel chair (broken leg) and they were very accomodation. They went out of their way to make it easy for me and my husband and good friend.
I have grown up on the river but not in it or on it in quite sometime, so I completely enjoyed watching the water movement and the porpoises that put on a show for us
We will do it again when my friend's husband is here and encourage many to take atvantage of that time to relax. and enjoy the water and the sights.

| A group of family and friends gathered on the Yorktown Alliance for the mid morning 2 hour cruise. Everything was just perfect! Not only was the ship wonderful the crew and Captain Gregg were truly the most wonderful people. This cruise was everything anyone would wish it to be. One could just sit and observe the scenery, listen to history and tales of the sea, even participate in hoisting the ship's sails. A trip and experience share by all. We will most certainly do this again and again!

| it was a gorgeous day for a sail. we loved the crew, captain greg, bill and olivia, they were all so nice and fun. we all got to hoist a sail and the boys took a turn at the helm. capt. greg told us as much history as he could get out about the sea and land battles in the area. and we got a one-shot cannon salute for susi's birthday, that was very special, what an experience to be that close to the gun.
a bit disappointing that there wasn't much wind so we didn't go far, and i would like to have had a more rousing sail, but it was definitely lovely and great to be out on the water on a beautiful day.
all the crew were also really good with the kids, and i think it is very important to let people know how important it is to respect the captain, the crew and the ship, by being well behaved and following directions.
we all hope to go again next year!
