Sailing trip was enjoyed by all

My family and I had a wonderful time. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We had to come in about 20 minutes early due to a storm approaching, but we made it in with a few minutes to spare before the hard rains and high winds came in. I appreaciated the captain bringing us in early as I would not have wanted to hit the storm that came through while on the water.

Good trip to experience sailing on a schooner

A crew member did a good job of explaining the basics of what a schooner is, and encouraged passengers to take part in raising the sails. He also explained some of the sights we were seeing. The trip was adjusted when we sited dolphins...appreciated the captain's flexibility regarding where we sailed.

It was great. I plan to come back (this time as a sunset cruise) with my husband soon.

From the time we set foot on the pier to the moment we set sail our adventure never ended. The Captain and crew of the Alliance gave us a sail we certainly won't forget. The weather was extraordinary! We got to participate in hoisting the sail. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic and that to me is a great combination.

The sail was very interesting and enjoyable. Recommend it more for adults or children that are teens or better.

Not so friendly

I, my adult daughter and 3 grandchildren ages 14 and 12 year old twins took the Alliance. Ship was nice, however captain seemed bored with his job and answered questions curtly. There were younger children aboard and this seemed to agitate him. No one was misbehaving. The trip was smooth, but not much was explained of history. The other ship, Serenity, seemed to be having a lot of fun as they were in water at the same time. I would suggest that charter over Alliance.
