Wish more information was given on the areas we were sailing by. There was a lot of none talk. Example what is "little England" area. Maybe we should have asked more - but most of the tours do give more information . Was a lovely boat and great to be on the water.

This is a trip for all ages. 2 hours is just right for small children or people who don't go on the water on a regular basis. Even though the weather was a little cloudy, this was a lot of fun. My two small grandsons were able to hoist one of the sails and help navigate the boat. We saw a porpoise and pelicans and were told some of the history about the area by one of the crew members. The highlight of the trip was when a small boy dropped his plastic binoculars overboard, and the crew went on a mission to retrieve them. The Captain and crew were very friendly, courteous and made it an adventure to remember.

The captain was so patient with my five year old grandson who had many, many questions. He also went well beyond the call of duty in rescuing my grandson's binoculars which went overboard. Can't say enough about our wonderful experience on the Alliance. M. Hirv

I recently enjoyed a 2 hour sailing adventure on the Schooner Alliance. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the adventure. The crew was very informative and enthusiastic about sailing. Guest on the boat were allowed to hoist the sails and steer if they chose to do so. There were snacks and drinks on board as well. We had a perfect day for sailing. We are considering a one week excursion in the Carribean at a later date, which is also available on the same boat.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon!!

I booked the sailing trip for my husband and I and out of town guests. Our guests were old college friends and one couple had owned a large sail boat at one time. Everyone thought the whole experience was great!! One of my guests walks with a cane and I was very impressed when we got to the schooner that the crew had been alerted to allow her to board first. The crew was personable, fun and efficient. I will certainly recommend this sailing experience to everyone I know. It's a great way to relax and enjoy the water. Nancy Gurtis Poquoson, VA

We had such a pleasant experience--the creaking of the ropes and the wind in the sails added to the ambience. We had a chance to really talk, and also just sit in silence and watch the crew work the boat. Everyone was so friendly and informative. We especially enjoyed the lunch --The Carrot Tree put together such a nice meal. We were so glad we had ordered it. My 10 y.o. daughter enjoyed the firing of the cannon very much! We all agreed we would like to make this ride an annual event!

We had a beautiful day. The Alliance was fun for our whole family (4 adults & 5 children ages 9 - 2 1/2 yrs.). Anyone who wanted to help hoist sails got to as well as help steer the boat. The crew was very friendly and accomodating. We didn't get to see dolphin on our trip (although we looked) and the canon finale was exciting for the kids. Highly recommended!
