Highly recommend

It was a wonderful two hour excursion. The three person crew readily talked to all, and answered any questions people had. They let us help raise the sails, and seemed to welcome discussion about the boat, the river, and the area in general. You felt welcome, and a part of their extended family. THANK YOU

We enjoyed all of the interaction with the crew. They were very friendly and most helpful in regard to sharing information as well as answering all of our questions. They were great at explaining all they were doing and why. This was a very enjoyable "cruise". We wish it could have been longer.

We enjoyed a very relaxing day of sailing on the York River. We spoke with the Captain before the sail and found him to be very competent. The crew was very knowledgeable about the sailing procedures of the schooner and the surrounding area around York River. We certainly would sail again.

Great trip--ridiculous reservation & prep process

The promo info provided is very sketchy and the process for making reservations is really poor. For reservations of this kind, we are accustomed to being able to reach a person or do a transaction online. Your after-hours phone process really stinks. We really wanted to do this trip or we would have given you a fig for the SO UNBUSINESS- LIKE process you have for off-hours reservations. Williamsburg/Yorktown is a vacation destination--get a life. People are in fun mode and not do not have loads of patience-- DUH. More shelter from the sun would be appreciated by most voyagers. The trip is really cool and it is too bad you do not have better business sense. (sign us) Land-lubbers who also love the sea and other waters.

Very hot day and not too exciting a trip

Our group of 10 had a fun time chatting, but it was rather hot and not too exciting a time. The crew was too anxious to sell drinks and didn't give out any information unless asked .

SAILING WAS VERY RELAXING.

THE SIGHTSEEING SAIL HAS A VERY CALM AND RELAXING AFFECT. HOWEVER, I WAS EXPECTING SOME SORT OF NARATION. THE STAFF WAS ALSO VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. THEY INVOLVED THE CHILDREN IN HOISTING OF THE SAIL. MY GRANDCHILDREN WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS EXPERIENCE.

A most WWonderful day on the York

This was a special day for my husband and I. We decided to take a Cruise for our 40th anniversary...a 2 hour trip on the beautiful York River was just what we wanted! The Captain and crew were most pleasant and helpful. I happened to be in a wheel chair (broken leg) and they were very accomodation. They went out of their way to make it easy for me and my husband and good friend. I have grown up on the river but not in it or on it in quite sometime, so I completely enjoyed watching the water movement and the porpoises that put on a show for us We will do it again when my friend's husband is here and encourage many to take atvantage of that time to relax. and enjoy the water and the sights. Thanks for a wonderful day.

Wish more information was given on the areas we were sailing by. There was a lot of none talk. Example what is "little England" area. Maybe we should have asked more - but most of the tours do give more information . Was a lovely boat and great to be on the water.
