Perfect Sailing aboard the Alliance

June 3rd was beautiful day, just enough of wind to carry us across the york river and back! My husband and I spend every anniversary aboard the Alliance, having to miss the chance on our wedding day (the rain and waves decided we were not to sail that day)...and we love it every year!!! The Captain and his crew are very nice, and professional, and the boat is absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this sail for everyone, ...young and old!!!! Thanks so much Captain Mayhem! :)

Beautiful boat and cruise but too many kids

We enjoyed the cruise although most of it was motor driven due to not enough wind. Maybe we should have taken the sunset cruise and there won't be as many screaming kids. Personally I don't think they should allow children under 10 to come onboard. We were hoping for a nice quiet time which was not the case.

Stormy weather delayed departure, however, staff was very accomodating and allowed us to be in contact if the schooner would depart. Staff helpful and answered all questions.

Greg and crew were great. It was great to hear the history behind the area. Wish there had been a little more wind.

Very Boring

We were all very disappointed in the trip on the River. This was very boring no one was explaining where we were on the River, it just seemed like we went out to the middle of the River and then turned around and headed to the shore. I would never recommend this to anyone.

We had a pleasant cruise on the Alliance. The crew answered questions, but did not volunteer information regarding what we were sailing past.

The captain of the ship we so well informed about the history of Yorktown and the Siege. He pointed out areas of interest and what happened there. Also the weapons center for Naval ships........just lots and lots of information. It was relaxing and informative.
