Captain Gregg & his crew are Welcoming and very Accommodating! His knowledge of local history is amazing! We live on the Atlantic so we frequent the water ways often in our own boat. This sail was a definite treat! The Alliance is very well maintained!!! Sailing with her was definetely the highlight of our visit to YorkTown! And, the price was extremely affordable!

We had a wonderful time on the Schooner Alliance. The crew was informative and helpful. Plus we had the pleasure of being escorted by a school of dolphins for most of the trip. Well worth the time and $$. |

My wife, 2 sister-in-laws and 2 friends and I (all senior citizens) sailed on the Alliance. The crew was very attentive. The information shared about the vessel was interesting and presented in the right length of time. The captain was easy to talk with and provided as much additional information as one would wish. Light snacks/drinks were available. Opportunities were offered to help with the sails which was enjoyed by all. In short, we enjoyed our 2+ hour sail and will look forward to another sail. |

Hands on historic ride

This is a ride that both the children and adults enjoy. The crew was very friendly and gave information about all you were doing and seeing, we even got to help hoist the sails. The day we were out the dolphins were feeding as were the osprey. Refreshments and souvenirs were available in the galley. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it |

The afternoon trip on the Alliance was relaxing and enjoyable. The captain was knowledgable about the surroundings of the York River and the historical facts about this area which he shared with us. My only suggestion to would-be customers is take the morning or evening cruise as the mid-afternoon one is very hot on a summer day! |
