Yorktown Sightseeing Day Sails

Everything was as described in the advertisement. Very relaxing ride on a beautiful day. The boys got to help raise the sails -even dad helped. The box lunch was a great value with large proportions.

We had a great time. The crew was wonderful and informative. We would take this again!

while at wiliamsburg we tried to find something that we had not done before. we found this trip on a website before we left on vacation. although it sounded like fun on the web, when we arrived at the dock i was a little apprehensive at seeing the schooner. what a great surprise! my husband had this planned and we had a great time. the trip was so relaxing. wish we could have taken another trip at night!

Nice Boat ride around the York River, but only the captain knows history of the area. Passengers sitting near him had a real tour but there was no speaker system so that the rest of the boat could hear what he had so say. Good for an afternoon rest after walking through Yorktown.

My husband and I loved the 2 hours on the Alliance. The scenery was beautiful. The captain informed us of many sites where Revolutionary War events took place and also pointed out other areas of interest on the river banks. We strongly recommend this trip to individuals and families. If you have ever wanted to go out on a tall ship- this is a great place to do it! The Price was very reasonable! It was relaxing, quiet, and the highlight of our trip to Williamsburg!

Enjoyable excursion for the family.

This was one of the best parts of a family vacation. The trip was relaxing and the staff was very knowledgeable. Not only did they explain the sails, but I also learned a lot just from their casual conversations with the customers about sailing, bridges and more.

My wife, daughter and I went on this 2 hour cruise and really enjoyed it. The weather was great and the river was not rough. The schooner is in fantastic shape and is really beautiful. The crew is experienced and made all of us on the trip feel comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend this excursion to anyone.

the captain and crew were polite and very helpful. they were all very well informed about the area and answered any questions regarding either the area, the sailing vessel and history surrounding the area. I have a fear of boats and they were professional and experienced and the way they handled the craft made me feel safe. I would definitely recommend this to anyone as a great experience,.
