What a treat

My husband and I had taken the cruise last year with our adult daughter and this year, took our other daughter and her husband. We enjoyed it so much both times. We will definitely take the cruise again with some friends. The crew was outstanding.

Very nice evening sail, well organized.

The sail was well organized with extras, like, grilled hot dogs, informative captain's discussion with passengers, beautiful sunset from the water and freedom to walk around the boat. The crew allowed participation by the passengers to set the sails. Overall a perfect sail.

Great Trip, only one problem

All six of us enjoyed our tour of the York River immensely. It gave of fond memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. This is especially true for the six year old child in our group. The only thing I didn't like about the total experience was the billing. You advertise the cost as $ 35.00 per person, but once we are all registered you clipped me for another $ 2.00 per person. That left a bad taste in my mouth.

A pleasant and affordable evening on the water

Although winds were too light for much sailing and the weather was hot and humid [obviously both outside the crew's control], we had a very pleasant July evening on the James River, with a lovely sunset. The crew was friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Was wonderful

We had a great time. The crew was informative and helpful when answering questions. One suggestion would be to run the sunset cruise with just adults once or twice a week. Kids running around and parents not keeping an eye on them made me very nervous. But all in all it was relaxing adventure. One more thing off our "bucket list."

I know i was told too use the bathroom before leaving. you still need to have one on board just in case. Also i have no idea how to do it unless you set on the deck. At the end of two hours i was getting sore. In all it was a good one time trip for the price.

This trip was part of my birthday present. It was a terrific break from the summer heat. I loved seeing the dolphins the best!

Besides explaining the workings of a schooner, the captain and crew were very knowledgeable on the history of the area we sailed past. Highly recommended for alll ages!
