| It was a very nice boat but they had primer on some of the rails & they failed to mention it was wet, i know this because it got on my girlfriends dress. The wind wasnt very strong & we never left sight of the pier, just drifted up the river a little ways. I felt the Capt should have used his motor so we could atleast get a false sense of what it feels like to sail. The crew was very nice & answered any question we asked. |

| The Yorktown River Cruise was a nice time. The crew was nice, the Captain fun, friendly & informative. The feeling was informal & laid back. Drinks & snacks were fairly priced. We went on what seemed like the hottest day of the summer but still had a nice breeze. I'd recommend this for a family, couple, or group of friends. |

| The boat was beautiful and the crew were friendly yet professional. Passengers have the opportunity to help raise the sails, which is fun for the sailing enthusiast and children alike. Unfortunately, winds tend to die down in the evening, so our cruise required the help of the motor on the way out before drifting with the current on the way back to port. This made for a very slow cruise; at times before the motor was started on the way out and we were fighting the current we could barely tell we were moving. However, the scenery was beautiful and the company entertaining, which made up for the lack of excitement. |

| The boat ride was nice but there was another event at the beach and we had a very hard time finding parking. we were there 15 minutes early and almost missed the boat because of the paring situation and that realy made the evening unpleasnt because if we had missed it we probably would not have gotten a refund. I would not do this again on a night there are other events which is probably most of the summer. |

| My spouse and I elected to take this cruise to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. Another couple, good friends of our for years, joined us.
The crew were first class in the attention to us and our needs. Good sailing. |

| We had a great evening on the cruise. The children (ages 6, 7 and 11) enjoyed it as much as the adults. The cool breezes from the York River made the hot day a distant memory. The children all got to take a turn at steering the boat and the older one was able to help raise the sails. The crew was pleasant, informed and professional. It was a memorable evening for we locals and our Kentucky kids who stil can't believe that rivers are that big! |

| We were very happy with our sailing experience. We enjoyed the beautiful weather the day we sailed. Two people in our group took part in hoisting the sails and loved it! We were also very happy with the crew; they were friendly and knowledgeable. On the day we sailed, August 3, one of the crew members (dark hair with dark beard) gave us a recommendation for a restaurant called Waterman's in Virginia Beach and we wanted to somehow let him know that it was a GREAT place!
Thank you so much for the fantastic sailing experience. It was truly one of a kind and we won't soon forget about it! |

| Booking was fast and easy and getting on the boat went off with no snags. The crew were fun and personable. The refreshments served onboard were reasonably priced too. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was the highlight of my vacation. |
