I feel that you do not sail far enough from the shore. The crew was nice and we enjoyed it. I also fell that it cost way more than it should.

The schooner was smaller than I thought it would be, but it was nice. There was not a lot of seating but you spent most of the time standing at the rails watching for stingrays, dolphins, etc. The sunset was gorgeous. The crew was personable and very helpful with questions. You could even assist with setting the sails. I would do this cruise again!

We had a very enjoyable cruise, it was informative with items of interest told by the captain. The people we met on the trip were interesting and friendly. Yorktown is a beautiful area, go see for yourself. This was our first visit to Yorktown, I'm sure we will go back on future trips to Williamsburg.

An evening Asail

I treated my friend for an evening on the water for his birthday along with another couple. My friend owned a sailboat years ago and was very happy to be back asail. I would recommend this trip to anyone who would like to sit back and enjoy the view and the atmosphere of an evening on the water.

We took the sunset tour. The crew was very helpful and knowledgable. Although the weather was very hot, it was cool and relaxing aboard the ship. The scenery was very nice and the sunset was beautiful.

Expected more

Although the weather was not perfect, the vessel stayed within a very short distance of the dock. We expected more for a 2 hour sail. There was a good wind, so covering several miles and getting back in 2 hours should not have been that difficult. Another issue was that my son (12 years old) was expected to wear a life jacket. Some of the other patrons were elderly and probably less capable than he is! As a professional mariner, I know that this is not a USCG requirement. On a positive note, the crew was fantastic!!! I would recommend this for visiting tourists who want to see the bay!

the trip, with "Captain Dave" and crew was great. Hoisting sails and drifting in a low wind river, can only imagine what it would be with a full sail. What a day. Would recommend this cruise to anyone visiting the tri city history and all who want a p respective of York.
