pleasant adventure i would go again

The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boat was gorgeous, clean and well-kept. The sunset was incredible. The bar didn't overcharge. Much. :) It was a really nice evening but it may be hard for younger children to be entertained for two hours.

The weather couldn't have been nicer for our sunset cruise and if I had had a chair, bench or seat it would have been perfect. I also wish that the Captain could have given a spiel about what we were seeing. Maybe the next time we sail on the Alliance things will be even more perfect. The crew were fun people to talk to about their duties etc

The only thing that bothered us was someone brought an infant on a sunset sail. Two things: the baby cried a lot but most troubling, it seemed like a tragedy just waiting to happen. A parent was either holding the baby or the baby was in a carriage that wasn't secured. Neither baby nor parent wore a life jacket. We like kids but an evening sail would have been much more enjoyable as adults-only, or at least 12 and up. That's only the evening cruise, day cruises are nice for kids, still not good for infants. There should be a policy barring infants or kids, say under two for safety reasons. I just don't see how they can be safe.

Crew were very nice and informed. It's not what I would call a "romantic" event. (There was a baby crying for over half the trip.) I thoroughly enjoyed it - I love to sail and have not been on our boat for six months - so a nice treat for me.

I loved this siteseeing day trip aboard the Alliance!. The crew, Sarah, Bo and John were very helpful in explaining things about the schooner and also local history. My favorite was when I got to help hoist the sails! I love the water and the way it feels to glide across it. I will be checking into the winter sailing in Panama. I highly recommend this to all that are thinking about it.

What a great way to spend the evening! The crew was wonderful, and interacted with all of the "sailors" on board. We recommend the sunset cruise, although I'm sure the day trips are also great.

We'd never been on a schooner before, and thought this would be a good introduction and a fund water experience. We enjoyed the cruise, and the friendly crew. We met and talked with two young men in the crew and of their interest of being on the water and history.

My wife and I have been sailing before and each time we go we find it very relaxing. The weather was great, the captain and his crew were very friendly and informative. Even though our cell phones had service, we learned with our first 2 hour sail that when we are on the boat the rest of the world can wait. (We used our phone to take photos and videos). There was ample parking nearby. Highly recommend.

Four adults and three children went on an evening cruise. It was a wonderful evening for all of us. The crew was delightful and very informative. We not only had a great time but learned a lot. We would recommend this trip to all. Seeing the sun setting on one side and the full moon on the other was a special treat.

The crew was helpful and very friendly. The trip was for an adequate amount of time. The vessel's facilities were clean and the meal provided was good. I would jighly recommend this tour to anyone interested.

I am a recreational sailor and have owned sailboats in past so I understand how a good sail experience is totally dependent on what that the weather is doing. The day we sailed on Yorktown River was about perfect for summer sailing 74 degrees and nice wind. The captain and crew taught all of us about tall ship sailing. Food for the grandkids was $3 hotdogs, their preference. We would do it again with that kind of weather.

This was a delightful trip. The crew was very friendly and we all had a great time.

It was our first sail boat cruise, and we really enjoyed it. The crew was so nice and polite. Highly recommend to anyone.

It was just too hot the day we went: heat index 109 degrees and no wind. Other than that it was a nice trip. The crew was very friendly and accomodating (and cute)!
