Provide more commentary on the sites we were seeing. We only got a short description of the history of the area --- and that only after we asked questions the crew could not answer.

The crew was very nice and entertaining. Very reasonable prices for drinks. We had fun, even the kids.

The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. A great trip for the young and the young at heart.

My husband and I enjoyed the cruise, it was two hours. We did not get any wind so the actual sailing part was slow, not very fast. I envisioned going at a faster pace with the wind blowing but that is mother natures fault, not the staff from the sailboat. I do think the tickets were over priced. I don't think we'll do it again any time soon but maybe in the future, only because of the cost. I did find the staff very polite and knowledgeable.

Recently my husband and I and a few friends took the Yorktown Sunset Sail. The ship is beautiful, the crew very good, and the view is spectacular. We got to see the sunset on the river in spite of earlier clouds. It was a nice evening and everyone had a fine time.

Crew was outstanding, ship immaculately clean. Seats could have been better (more).

nice boat but that was the only thing.took 15 minutes to back out and set sail. no wind another 15 minutes. sailed down river to the old amoco plant and turned around and headed back to the bridge, under we went,turned around and docked. thirty people on boat ten were kids ,12 and under.no place to sit ,told to find a flat spot and sit down.there were no seats.only storage lockers and they were at an angle and were very uncomfortable.very limited places to sit.been on many other boat trips and went further and had a better time. over heard other people comment on this ride and it was not good. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE

Good stuff, lunch was really nice fr a box meal, a little expensive, but great experience.

It was a very nice trip out on the water. It was very interesting watching them raise the masts and controling the boat. I would recommend this cruise to anyone. There were children on the boat. They seemed to enjoy it as well.

The crew was wonderful, we enjoyed our 2 hours on the water.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the Alliance. It was entertaining and relaxing at the same time. The crew was very informative and friendly. The only complaint that anyone had was the type of seating. I would recommend that anyone attending this activity should bring a pillow to sit on.

We had a good day, weather-wise; sunny but not too hot or cold. The crew was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. The only thing that would make it better is to bring a seat cushion of some sort--seating is on life vest lockers and such, and gets a little hard. The crew told us they had tried having cushions, but they get wet or blown overboard. I would bring my own and hang onto it!

The weather was perfect but there was very little wind so we had to use the motor. It did not detract from the enjoyable experience. The crew was very helpful and entertaining. We loved the peaceful and beautiful ride. We would do it again anytime.

We were all very disappointed in the trip on the River. This was very boring no one was explaining where we were on the River, it just seemed like we went out to the middle of the River and then turned around and headed to the shore. I would never recommend this to anyone.

We had a great time; our first time on a schooner. My grandsons helped hoist the sails which was an unexpected pleasure. The crew was very friendly again we had a great time.
