We really enjoyed the cruise on the schooner Alliance. Great crew and a wonderful day for a sail on the York River.

We went on this cruise with a group of ladies and it was amazing. The weather was perfect the sun was out and the wind was mild. The tour guides was pleasant, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. I would recommended this to any and everyone.

Highly recommend if you like to take a relaxing evening with your date.

My Boyfriend and I were on the last full day of our vacation. Originally, we were going to go to Virginia Beach, but because of the possibility of storms, we looked at the weather and decided to go North. We looked online and saw the sailboat, and decided that Yorktown was the place to visit. It was awesome,we saw the battlefield, went to a secluded beach and then the sail tour. It was the most relaxing thing we did all vacation. I highly recommend it. It was a chance to unwind and enjoy the Bay. My Boyfriend talked to the captain, looking for a great place to eat, he recommended the Yorktown Pub, great place! The. Crew were very knowledgable about the history of Yorktown, they were entertaining and fun. By all means, the price was right, the weather was awesome, and we will come back and do the sail tour again. The only thing though I should say, young children might not like it, they might get bored. Older children and teenagers will enjoy it though. We will be back next year!

The evening sail is a great way to enjoy being out on the water while watching the sunset. The crew was informative, entertaining, fun, and professional. Definitely highly recommended.

We really enjoyed sailing on the Alliance! We highly recommend this trip to everyone. The crew was extremely friendly and very knowledgable about the area. It's was hands-on experience as well. They let my husband help raise the sails! There were many great photo opportunities. York river is really beautiful - especially at sunset.

Friendly crew and neat boat! The crew explained a bit about sailing to us as they were unfurling the sails and let us do a bit of hands-on if we wanted. They gave us some general info about the Yorktown area and the history. Nice relaxing cruise! And props to sailor Alex who is friendly, funny - and absolutely gorgeous to look at! :-) A fun day indeed!

My husband, son and myself did the sunset cruise on the Alliance while on vacation in Yorktown. Even though it was very cold and cloudy and not much of a sunset, we had a great time. The crew was wonderful and the river was beautiful. We all enjoyed the hands on experience and the ship was lovely. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone venturing to Yorktown. Perfection!

The captain and crew were top notch. I have sailed in many places and the crew on our tour were well informed and eager to answer any of our questions. I highly recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to the area.

Staff was very gracious and accommodating, boat was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the York River. We plan on doing it again and bring friends so they can enjoy it too!
