| The whale watching tour was awesome in more than one regard:
We saw orcas and humpbacks and lot's of them ...
One of the children in our company got seasick and the deckhand was very helpful, provided everything neccessary to mae him feel better, asked later about how he has been, we felt very fortunate with Joel and his team.
The small boat gave us an advantage in terms of looks and still not chasing the whales, we saw the other boats and were happy not to be squeezed like them. |

| well organised and staff were extremely informative and knowledgable about the whole experience. Spending four hours bobbing about a a boat looking at these most amazing creatures was unbelievable.
It remained the talking point for my son and his girlfriend's whole trip. It was part of a thanksgiving experience that will stay with us for ever
We would all like to thank everyone concerned with the company that made it possible,
To clarify one point we are a family without small children. I was on the cruise with my son and his girlfriend. |

| You get very close views with the whales. One swam under the boat and stayed there looking at us. |

| This trip promises to be a four hour trip - from the time we left the harbor to our return to the boat slip = one and a half hours - well short of the four hours advertised. If you have any idea you may get sea sick - do not go and ruin it for everyone else. The seas were a bit choppy on our trip, however, part of the reason we had to return early was due to sickies on board.
Also - if there is a chance your trip will be shorter than four hours - and you have the flexibility to do so, cancel and come back. The trip is well worth it, but feel cheated as I paid for four hours and only got one. |

| Although we did see A whale we spent a total time of 1hour on the water and chased ONLY that one whale. We went 1 1/2 miles out to sea and turned around because some people on the boat were getting sick. The Captain and Deckhand cited a "safety" issue as their cover story which was later discounted when I called the owner of the boat to complain and he actually told me they turned the boat around because people were getting sick! When I asked for a refund from the Captain he became agitatated and rudely told me that I was "Not getting a refund". It is truly a shame becuase being out to sea and around the marine life was amazing. The owner told me he was going to give me two tickets to compensate for the trip (which I have yet to see) but I should not have even had to call the owner! They didn't even think we deserved a refund after having been on the water for only 1 hour! I would not reccomend this trip to anyone who wants to spend some time on the ocean. If your timid and unsure how your going to react to sea sickness then this is the trip for you. |

| Before purchasing tickets with Sanctuary I read with attention all the comments left here from clients and it seemed to me that the Sanctuary crew was skilled and professional. Wow, the comments were correct.
The experience was fantastic, it was like being in an action movie. The sea was veeery moving but the Captain drove the boat very well. The Captain said "there, I see a whale" and immediately drove very fast in order to allow us to see the whale. We saw about four/five whales, beautiful.
Great experience, great crew (they helped a lot all the people feeling sick for the sea)! I strongly recommend Sanctuary! |

| Only boat for whale watching out of Moss landing. First whale inside 1 mile out. Boat is not crowded allowing room to move. Crew is very informative. Lots of whales and dolphins. Very nice trip. |

| The day couldn't have started out worse - or have ended more incredibly! We were socked in by fog and disheartened by the lack of visibility. It seemed obvious it was going to be a dud of a day. Noel and Jane kept spirits high educating us about whales and the Monterey Bay - and then Noel found a mile of the harbor, right next to our boat, which fluked before disappearing into the mist. As it turned out, finding whales in the mist was a great adventure. Noel followed a number of whales throughout the morning, an incredible feat given the lack of visibility. Staying in contact with other boats in the Bay, Noel found a clearing from the fog - and friendly whales, who circled an adjoining boat and ours for up to an hour. The whales came up to our boat and came out of the water to check us out, just feet from our railing. All the while, we knew we were as minimally intrusive as possible with Noel's sophistication and sensitivity to the situation. And smelling whale's breath was the bee's knees! |
