| We enjoyed the trip - even the sea sick one - the commentary was informative without being "canned" and over stated. I would certainly do this trip again and would recommend it to friends. |

| The folks at Sanctuary were helpful and informative. They made every effort to get us as close as possible to the whales without disturbing them. They explained the different behaviors that we were seeing and so the tour was enjoyable as well as educational. We will certainly go back again, a different time of year to see different whales. |

| The trip was a great experiance although we only saw 5 whales and the weather was a little rough and foggy. The Captain and crew were knowledgable and hospitable. I'm looking forward to going again and seeing more whales! |

| The weather wasn't very cooperative but we did get to see two separate groups of humpback whales.
This was our 4th outing with Sanctuary and every one has been great fun. |

| The trip was nice, crew friendly, boat clean. It was nice being on a smaller vessel and not the large boats. We would do this again. |

| For someone who is never on a boat, it was a nice treat. The boat is cozy and the seas were choppy, and I really enjoyed being jostled around, although my girlfriend became seasick even wearing the wristbands. She is extremely sensitive to being moved around, and out of 19 passengers only two felt ill. We saw 7 humback whales from a respectful distance, which was awesome. The captain and crew were super friendly and accomodating. I think that overall it was a great experience and if you come expecting anything and understanding that whales are wild animals not in an aquarium, so you might not see them from two feet away, and that being on the water can be bumpy, you'll have a good time. Saw lots of neat birds that I don't see back home in Virginia, and on the way out from Moss Landing saw several sea lions very close to the boat as well as Sea Otters. It was a nice long ride, and lots of time is spent getting in and out of harbor, which is fine with me cause I just like being on the boat. |

| We saw 7 humpback whales while we were on our excursion. I felt so lucky to have a chance to be so close to them. The tour operator got us close to the whales, but was respectful of their space which was important to us. Thanks again for the amazing experience! |

| Nice, sunny and "calm" day. The captain told us the weather doesn't get much better than what we had. Did have a few people heaving over the side... Take your meds for sea sickness BEFORE you leave!!!
But - we did get quite close to 2 humpbacks which made the trip quite exciting!!! The crew was great. The Captain spent a lot of time telling us what was going on, where we were headed, etc, etc.
All the cruises work together to find the whales. Moss Landing is great spot to get to to get on a boat - about 30 minutes closer to SF than going to some of the other whale tours down in Monterey.
I'd definitly choose this trip again!! |

| Noel and Francisco were very informative and helpful during our whale watching trip. We were fortunate to see sea otters, harbor seals and then to our delight two humpback whales which absolutely thrilled all aboard. The boat was clean and large enough to accomodate all aboard comfortably. The instructions on the website gave us information to dress in layers and appropriately for the weather so we were comfortable on the trip. Noel tried to find gray whales also but none were around the area but we appreciated his diligence in trying to locate the grays. Thanks again for another wonderful memory from California. |

| We loved to watch the grey whale, but the time on the boot was tooo long.
The boot was driving 4 hours straight, without any breaks. We got very seasick. I did not realized before, how long 4 hours can be.
We had to wait a long time, before we finally saw a whale from far away.
But all together the trip was about 95% just waiting and riding on the ship very seasick and 5% enjoying the whales.
The crew on the ship was very very nice and helpful and did their best! |
