| the only thing I would say negative is I expected the boat to be more elegant. But as for the whale watching we saw four humbacks, a shark and not even 10minutes into the bay we were surrounded by these amazing dolphins! This was all in all a good day. I think you will enjoy it! |

| The trip was incredible. Friendly crew, clean boat, and fantastic whale and dolphin watching. One of the whales actually came up next to the boat. I was within 5 feet of it! Our whale watching cruise was the highlight of our vacation. I 100% recomend Sanctuary Whale Watching Cruises. I intend to foreward some of the many great pics from the trip. They truly have to be seen to be believed. |

| Our trip with Sanctuary Cruises was terrific! We were treated to the sight of no fewer than 8 humpback whales, and also got to experience the rare sight of a pod of Orcas teaching one of their calves how to hunt. Noel and Francisco were not only knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of the whales, but obviously love what they do, and it shows. We had a great time with them!
We strongly recommend this trip for anyone with a love and respect for all types of marine wildlife - it was the highlight of our trip, and we are definitely planning to go again the next time that we are in Monterey. |

| This was our second trip with Sanctuary, and we excitedly recommend it to others. The boat is clean, and the crew is friendly, patient, and efficient. We thought we were doing well with five whale sightings and several rafts of sea lions, but then the magic happened. A humpback approached and spent the next 40 minutes spouting, rolling, and playing around our boat. Our day was very special, and the crew seemed to do their best to find the best sights! |

| This was our first whale watching trip and we picked a good one. But before our big surprise towards the end of the tour, the tour itself was awesome. Captain Noel and Hillary were great. Always communicating to us about what was going on. The ship was immaculate and there was plenty of room.
We found the whales before the other tours and Captain Noel radioed to the other tour captains where they were. Captain Noel would take extra time to explain things to my 7 and 5 year old, super nice.
I can't say enough about this outfit. Very professional and competent.
The big surprise was a "friendly" whale who seemed to be scratching barnacles off her back and belly while giving all of us a 40 minute close up view of her. We all sat there and enjoyed her "whale breath" for what seemed like 10 minutes, then she swam away and gave us a fluke wave before she dived.
That whale probably ruined us for any other whale watching tours, but we will come back to Sanctuary when its time to see more whales.
Thanks Noel, and Hillary.

| i thought that the tour was very long and we only saw humpback whales and seelions. but in the end we had a very special event going on. a humpback whale was directly under the boat and really close so that it was very exciting for everybody. if this wouldn't have happened i would have been disappointed of the tour. |

| Captain Noël showed us a humpback whale [Big vin] with a calf. He told us a lot about whales and Bigvin and her young especially. Later we saw another humpbackwhale with a calf and a group of about 20 dolphins!! It really was enourmously exiting. |

| started the day with much fog...didn't take too long to see sea lions, sea otters, and 3 types of dolphins. they were very playful and lots of them. after 2 hours, we had a beautiful clearing. the waters were a beautiful green/blue and lots of sun. we then spotted 3 whales and chased them around for about 45 minutes. it was our first experience to see such awesome creatures up close. we saw a mom and her calf and then another full size adult whale. i would do this activity again. my husband got a little queezy after 2 hrs., with a little help from Francisco and a wrist band that shoots electrical charge, he was ok.
it was a beautiful day and would highly recommend it. The staff did an excellent job and provided lots of details about our sightings. |
