Good trip on a hot day.

The nature trip to Sullivan Island started at 2 pm on a very warm day. But once we got out of the harbor the weather cooled down considerable - breeze mostly. On the way over, we stopped at a crab pot and looked at the caught crabs. Our guide did a good job of describing the blue crabs that were caught. Next we landed at Sullivan Island. We walked near the shore for approx. 30 mins. looking for shells, etc. One can see Ft. Sumter and the outline of Charleston from here. Good place to get pictures.

We had an awesome time on the Ecotour we recently took. The crewmen were very knowledgeable concerning the animals we encountered and the history of Charleston. The kids loved visting Morris Island and looking for shells! We hope to try the Ghost Tour next time!

Excellent afternoon tour.

This was an excellent afternoon tour with a friendly and knowledgable crew and tour guide. We were able to see dolphins, learned about differnt crabs from the crab pot, and were shown a myriad of sea life from a collection on board. The walk on the beach at Morris Island to look for shells and sharks teeth was very enjoyable. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour for families with children, and anyone with an interest in nature.

That was one of the best tours ever!! The fact that the crab trap was pulled and you were able to get off at the island was perfect!!! I would be the poster woman for this tour any day!

Not a tour - just a boat ride

This was not a tour - there was no narrative, no information about what we were seeing, not even a description of the four points we traveled to in the harbor. It was a boat ride, with a cash bar and sorry snacks. While I enjoyed the ride I was expecting a tour. Not recommended

Pretty good but..

A lovely boat ride, out to a wild island, great 30 minute beach walk. The guides were very nice, but the animal content was limited - saw 2 crabs, 2 types of birds and one dolphin - the fin only! Would have liked more animal content... Would do again though, for the island if nothing else..

Everyone was friendly and professional. The captain offered to stop and circle around when we spotted dolphins, so we could take pictures. Megan, the biologist who accompanied us was knowledgeable and personable. The walk on Morris Island yielded some interesting shell finds, which we could take with us as souvenirs. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Great tour leader (Casey) and tour

We enjoyed the detail and attention that the tour leader provided. We saw plenty of wildlife, including dolphins, and enjoyed the island, although the shells were not that great that day. When one of our group lost her hat to the wind inthe harbor, the check-in person called the water taxi that was incoming, and they fished out the hat!
