Take a land ghost tour instead and hear more that 3 ghost stories and actually experience the location of the ghost story.

The cruise around bay was very nice. But for the kids, they needed more ghostly activities.

It's basically a nice harbor cruise at night with some great ghost stories told by Ed Macy, who is hysterical, and really knows his stuff. Also.. he doesn't "blow smoke". Take the tour and you'll know what I mean. Oh and this tour is not like an ABC Family ghost movie. It's geared more for adults, so just be aware of that.

Very enjoyable

The views on this cruise were beautiful. The staff was also excellent. They were very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The only negative was the seating. If you really wanted to sit for the entire cruise, the bench seating would not be comfortable. Would not recommend this cruise for older people for that reason. Refreshments were very well chilled. Great job with that. Appetizers were lacking a little, but not a big deal to me. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone under 60 years old.

This cruise was a decent date out, it probably would have been better but it was extremely hot. It was kind of short too, you just pretty much go strait to an island stay for 30 minutes and come back. the people are really nice though and try to make it as interesting as possible, so if your just looking for a date thats a little different then this is an ok choice

Atmospheric

Guide seemed fairly knowledgeable of "spooky" history for ghost boat tour. Presentation seemed a little bit stilted/scripted rather than friendly and inviting.

Beautiful view of Charleston and bridge at night, interesting ghost stories

I originally thought this would be a touristy type cruise but I was way wrong. It was a peaceful boat ride through the harbor hitting some landmarks and watching the sunset over Charleston. There was some background on the landmarks and the guides would answer questions but for the most part, they let you sit and enjoy the ride and scenery. I highly recommend it!

The tour director was excellent! He lives in the area, works for the harbor and knows the entire history. He had an outstanding personality, was knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. I cannot remember if his name was Rick or Mark, but he was excellent. His assistant , Megan was also extremely personable and friendly. I would highly recommend this trip.

There were literally 3 ghost stories told on this tour and they were very very boring. Aside from that there was a tale about Blackbeard in Charleston and the story had no ending; just kinda stopped. The tour guide/story teller had a monotone delivery and apparently it was her first trip. She was also the bartender for an expensive beer & soft drink bar so she would stop between stories to open up the bar. Overall we were really disappointed as we thought we'd here some interesting stories and got nothing. One story was about a man who refused to give a ride to a voodoo woman and she cursed him saying his bones would be covered by water. Well the story concludes that he lived a long prosperous life and 300 years after his death they flooded the area where he was buried to build a dam... Wow... Spooky...

The sunset tour was very well planned and guided. Both the Captain and Guide were well versed in the history of the Charleston harbor and it's ghostly past. It was a very fun tour of one our country's oldest harbors. A highly recommended tour for the money.
