We had an awesome time on the Ecotour we recently took. The crewmen were very knowledgeable concerning the animals we encountered and the history of Charleston. The kids loved visting Morris Island and looking for shells! We hope to try the Ghost Tour next time! |

The tour was lovely - we had a beautiful evening and cruised the harbor with a small varied group - saw the various historical sites on the Charleston Harbor, enjoyed the sunset over the Charleston skyline, had dolphin playing around the boat and were impressed with the lighted Arthur Ravenel bridge as we went under it. Would recommend it to anyone. |

This was a nice cap off to a long day. We took a $15 dollar rickshaw ride from the market area to the harbor. Check in was easy with the on line booking. Boat left on time. It was basically a night tour of the harbor, with someone tells you stories. Funny, strange, creep, and somewhat elaborate stories. We did enjoy it! 2nd time for me. Will do is every time I am there. |

The tour itself was great. However, our kids were exhausted from the day, so they were really tired during the boat ride. The guide does a LOT of talking, and the stories could be a bit shorter to keep the kids' attention maybe. I noticed other kids falling asleep on their parents' laps as well. The tour goes to 11:00pm, so plan accordingly with children. Otherwise, very friendly crew and a good trip. |

the cruise on the water was nice, but the ghost tour itself was not. Expected with the word ghost in title that it would be a little scary and fun. Was not. |

Captain Jerry was out of this world with his interaction with the guest and his knowledge of the area was very informative. |

We LOVED our ghost tour. The boat, with wet bar and bathroom, loops the Charleston harbor. The staff was amazingly friendly and fun. The guide was dressed up as a pirate and was super knowledgeable on the history of Charleston. |

The evening cruise ride on the boat was nice, however, there were no "real" ghost stories told. The only thing the guide talked about was people who had actually died from the area. I was expecting actual scary ghost stories and was very disappointed. Definitely opt for the walking tour in downtown Charleston if you want to actually hear ghost stories rather than get a history lesson. |

We enjoyed the harbor cruise and the crab pot demonstration but our favorite part was the stop at Morris Island. We were given some time to walk along the beach and collect shells and shark's teeth. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Even though we didn't have small children in our group, they interacted well with the kids on board. Since it's billed as a nature cruise we expected a more eco-geared tour but overall we had a good time and even saw some dolphins. |

Everything went smoothly. They toured quite a bit of the harbor, and though we sail all the time, they showed us a couple places we hadn't seen yet. |

We very much enjoyed the dolphins and the boat ride itself. We went out when you could see lightning in the background (I assume that is safe?). We thought trolling the ocean floor meant a net would be dragged behind the boat and pulled up for all sorts of sea creatures. Instead, we went to a crab pot and put a few crabs in an little fish tank on board. We landed on Morris Island which our family has dubbed "Gnat Island" because we were bitten non stop by little tiny gnats. The children were a good sport about it, but it caused tension. Bring bug spray if you go! Not sure if it is always like that, but this was our experience. |

My Mom and I first time in Charleston. We found our guide very informative. Even at the end of our tour he gave us other locations to go and see in Charleston. Enjoyed this tour very much and would recommend it to anyone. |

I've been on other Sandlapper tours twice before and enjoyed both the ride and narrator. I've always found the tour guides to be very pleasant and helpful in every way. This time I took a party of six on the nature tour, including my grandsons, ages 4 & 6. This was the first time on a boat for 3 of them and they loved it. We saw not only landmarks of Charleston from the water, but enjoyed watching the pelicans and dolphins. Our guide stopped to pick up a trap and showed us 2 blue crabs and lots of tiny shrimp. Then we went out to Morris Island and walked along the beach looking for shells, shark teeth, and other remnants of animal life. (We had to leave our shoes on because the sand was so hot.)
If I had any suggestion, it would be to share more sealife with the kids during the ride back. My two almost fell asleep because they had already seen and done everything on the way out. We really enjoyed it though and I would highly recommend it! |
