Enjoyed the tales of the ghosts and pirates. Wish it was scarier!

The 2 person staff on the boat were very friendly. They had answers to our questions, and knew there stuff. When my wife and I return to Charleston we will take this cruise again.

We really enjoyed this tour. The naturalist was informative and enthusiastic. It is one of the best tours of Charleston Harbor with the bonus trip of Morris Island. If you like collecting sea shells, be sure to take a big zip lock bag with you to Morris Island.

Would recommend for families. Very historical and beautiful views.

The captain did a great job of navigating so we got as close as possible and had the best view of sites. Ben is retired history teacher and did more than just tell the history. He explained the history as well as the background to the history. They both told local stories which made the tour even better. My wife and I loved it and recommend this.

Our guide was so informative. I have been to Charleston many times and live in SC part of the year. I thought I knew a lot about the history, but I learned so much more. It was great and I highly recommend it.

This tour was just the right length for our group. We were celebrating our parent's 60th wedding anniversary and wanted to include an activity that we could all enjoy. The weather was nice and the crew was entertaining and informative. We took lots of great pictures. It was a pleasant way to see many of the historical landmarks of Charleston.

Guide was very well informed. Captain had a great sense of humor.

My daughter and I went on this tour. She loved the ghost stories. I loved the harbor tour. This was one of the highlights of our trip. My only regret was that it didn't last longer!

We really enjoyed the sunset and all the sights. It was a truly different way to do a ghost tour. The crew were great - informative but not obnoxious and even provided bug spray when required.

We loved the cruise. The weather was great and the crew very knowledgeable about the history and the area. It was not too scary though. It would have been fantastic if we could have seen some of the people they spoke about.

My husband and I wanted to take a boat tour of the harbor area of Charleston and found this sunset tour on the internet ...it was exactly what we wanted....in fact it was one of the highlights of our week there. We enjoyed the informal atmosphere of the 2 hour trip, the captain made converation with riders and answered questions, but there was NO formal narration -- YAY! We simply boated, took in the views, enjoyed the provided light refreshments and got some fantastic photographs of the sunset. Would take this tour again and again!!!!

I've been on other Sandlapper tours twice before and enjoyed both the ride and narrator. I've always found the tour guides to be very pleasant and helpful in every way. This time I took a party of six on the nature tour, including my grandsons, ages 4 & 6. This was the first time on a boat for 3 of them and they loved it. We saw not only landmarks of Charleston from the water, but enjoyed watching the pelicans and dolphins. Our guide stopped to pick up a trap and showed us 2 blue crabs and lots of tiny shrimp. Then we went out to Morris Island and walked along the beach looking for shells, shark teeth, and other remnants of animal life. (We had to leave our shoes on because the sand was so hot.) If I had any suggestion, it would be to share more sealife with the kids during the ride back. My two almost fell asleep because they had already seen and done everything on the way out. We really enjoyed it though and I would highly recommend it!

Myself (grandmother) took my 2 grandsons 3 & 6 years to Charleston for our Spring break from school. The boys are all into dolphins, so that is why I decided to take them on this tour. That was the highlight of the trip to Charleson. There were several groups of dolphins at different times on the boat and getting off at Morris Island was an adventure.

Take a land ghost tour instead and hear more that 3 ghost stories and actually experience the location of the ghost story.
