We had perfect weather and temperature with hardly any wake at all. A beautiful full moon was a plus. The boat was a nice cruiser but we were actually expecting something more pirate-like since the brochure has the logo of a pirate ship in the background. They told ghost stories periodically and sold drinks between the tales. The stories were a bit of a letdown. Not bad I guess, just nothing that really grabbed you. There was nothing spooky in any way. It just turned into a pretty nice cruise around the harbor. Nice but a little overpriced for a boat ride. The kids were bored before it was over. Better for a couple.

Just go, you will have a good time!

I live in Charleston, but decided to take the tour for a new view of the city that I had never seen before..from the water at night..Everything was very organized and the staff was very kind and made the tour entertaining.

The tour was great. I've been talking to co-workers about it all week. Can't wait for the next one.

The overall experience was good with the exception of the lack of food being provided. We had a handful of grapes as well as a handful of cheese that were complimentary and bags of chips for a price. The host was very friendly and helped make the trip more enjoyable. Another improvement that may be advised is to have a little better entertainment than a small cd player that was only on maybe half the time. Being on the water and watching the sunset was what it was all about but I would advise to put a little more into the experience rather than relying on the sunset on the boat to make it enjoyable.

The sunset cruise is one of my favorite things to do around Charleston. It's a very relaxed atmosphere with absolutely beautiful views of the sunsest over the water. They give you enough info & facts on the things you see to make it interesting & will answer any questions. But they don't bombarding you to the point of boring you to death. The most exciting parts for me, personally, are the dolphin sightings! I highly recommend this, especially on a date night!

This is an excellent tour. The people are extremely well versed in the area and are excellent hosts for this two hour adventure.

We had such a great time on the haunted harbor tour. It was a beautiful night, the stories were interesting, and the cruise was so pleasant. Leigh did a great job with the storytelling and with answering questions. The tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable and provide a great tour! I would recommend it to anyone!

The tour was very relaxed & fun! The boat had all different ages on it & everyone was having a good time. It was romantic to see the sunset & sights with my husband while having a couple of drinks. I was very excited to see dolphins at the end!

My husband and I went on this cruise with 2 of our sons and 3 grandchildren. It was a wonderful "bonding" experience that the family has needed for a long time. THX....

Our guide, Benjamin, was entertaining and informative. We enjoyed his personal take on the history of Charleston, and would recommend this tour to others.

It was a relaxing time. If you are wanting a history tour though, this is more so just a low key fact tour. The tour is more for the enjoyment of the sunset on the water.

I purchased this sunset cruise for my date for Father's Day. We were scheduled on Sunday, Father's Day, June 15th, but due to the weather we re-scheduled for Tuesday, June 17th. Went out; a storm came and had to go back in. We would like to continue our cruise, but every night there has been a storm. We are local and thorougly enjoyed the short time we were on the boat but would like to finish our cruise.

I love to chase the ghost stories, so I'll try any ghost tour once. Of the many I have been on, this one is by far the best! Not only is a slow boat cruise very leisurely, but even when it's hot the cool breezes on the water keep you comfortable. Much nicer than a fast pace walking tour where your dodging tourists the whole time. The fact that is starts well after dark makes it a little more spooky and romantic then those that start earlier. The boat was not noisy at all, you could really hear and enjoy everything. The BEST part was the woman (Lee I believe) telling us about all these ghost stories. She was a local, third generation tour expert. Her knowledge about ghosts and history of the area made her by far the best storyteller of any I had heard before. She was really interested in finding out about and experiencing all of this herself. They also have a cash bar with sodas, beer and wine for your cruise, so keep that in mind. Definitely a tour I will do again! Next time I go I will take cash and leave her a big tip.
