My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening cruise, even though the weather had turned nippy. Ed was a wonderful storyteller and expert historian. He is genuinely entertaining and everyone on board was relaxed and congenial. I would definitely do this one again and recommend highly for any tourist to this lovely and fascinating city.

It's basically a nice harbor cruise at night with some great ghost stories told by Ed Macy, who is hysterical, and really knows his stuff. Also.. he doesn't "blow smoke". Take the tour and you'll know what I mean. Oh and this tour is not like an ABC Family ghost movie. It's geared more for adults, so just be aware of that.

Enjoyed the tour of the harbor at night. It was a beautiful evening with a full moon. Nice close up of Battery St. and the Ravenel Bridge. The ghost tour was good I guess, if you enjoy that stuff, I am not much of a fan. My husband really enjoyed it. The guide had a handful of "facts" incorrect regarding the H. L. Hunley and 60,000 people did not die at Gettysburg, but overall it was pretty good.

I thought the tour was really interesting and informative. There were great views of the bridge and rainbow row.

This was an excellent afternoon tour with a friendly and knowledgable crew and tour guide. We were able to see dolphins, learned about differnt crabs from the crab pot, and were shown a myriad of sea life from a collection on board. The walk on the beach at Morris Island to look for shells and sharks teeth was very enjoyable. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour for families with children, and anyone with an interest in nature.

Info on the Huntly was great! This Charleston attraction had to be the most relaxing and enjoyable adult thing we did! I do think that children should be excluded ( we had 1 on our cruise) the guide was great and did not take into consideration the thoughts of a child. I know that sounds like a bad thing, but it is an adult outing involving adult stories. I am glad that he kept to the script! Actually the way he even opened the bar at times was very entertaining and again a child should not be there but he performed as I had expected and hoped! This will be a must do everytime we go! And we will highly reccomend this ( psst better than a carriage ride)

The guide was an excellent story teller and has a great sense of humor. I would recommend this tour to anyone that would like to see Charleston from the water at night and enjoy a few good stories.

Captain Jerry was a skilled driver and gave us a very smooth ride. Our Tour Guide Lee was extremely knowledgable in the history of the area and also had a great sense of humor, as did the captain. The stories of ghosts and pirates of Charleston was interesting and entertaining. Our family also did the Carolina Belle day harbor tour, the Palmetto Carriage tour and the tour of Boone Hall Plantation and the Ghost Harbor tour was unanimously our favorite activity of the whole vacation. We all agreed we would do it again in a heartbeat. Great fun, loved it! Just so happened no one else had booked the tour except our family and it also coincided with the full moon, so it was great ambience and we had the tour all to ourselves. I can't recommend this enough...Sandlapper tours is awesome!

Megan, one of the boat crew, was very personable and spent time with passengers. She explained the various sites very well. The tour was excellent and would recommend this to others.

This was a small group, as only my husband, daughter and I and one other couple were in attendance, so I am sure it is different that if you go during the peak of the season with tons of people. Since there were only 5 of us, we took their small boat, rather than the large one, so I don't know what that would be like. We headed straight our for Morris Island, stopping to watch dolphins along the way. My daughter loved it! During the short ride, the tour guide showed us some crabs and explained some of their anatomy. Upon arrival at Morris Island, we had the place to ourselves. We were given an hour to walk the beach, pick up shells, and learn about some of the plants, animals, shells, and other items we found there or saw. They did say they usually didn't get to stay on the island that long. We found a variety of shells, including a conch, some large clam, scallop, and oyster shells, as well as shark teeth. I don't believe this is the "normal" tour, as they said they usually have many more people, but it was fun, our tour guide and captain were friendly, and we plan on going again sometime!

The guide wasn't the usual guide for this tour but she was very friendly and interactive with everyone on the cruise! She was very informative of everything from the houes, parks, landmarks, boats at the marina, people, restaurants. The cruise itself was very nice. The captain even stopped the boat when we spotted dolphins so we could watch them in the water. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Very enjoyable

The views on this cruise were beautiful. The staff was also excellent. They were very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The only negative was the seating. If you really wanted to sit for the entire cruise, the bench seating would not be comfortable. Would not recommend this cruise for older people for that reason. Refreshments were very well chilled. Great job with that. Appetizers were lacking a little, but not a big deal to me. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone under 60 years old.

This cruise was a decent date out, it probably would have been better but it was extremely hot. It was kind of short too, you just pretty much go strait to an island stay for 30 minutes and come back. the people are really nice though and try to make it as interesting as possible, so if your just looking for a date thats a little different then this is an ok choice
