Harlem, known as the capital of African American culture, is home to magnificent architecture - from picturesque colleges, hotels and churches to quaint brownstones. Its cultural treasures include the Apollo Theater and the Studio Museum of Harlem.
Harlem is also a mecca for authentic soul food and soul music. World famous from the 20’s to the 60’s for jazz and Black American culture, Harlem is enjoying an economic revitalization that makes it once again a choice neighborhood. Former President Bill Clinton, recognizing the area’s recent energy, has even located his post-Presidential offices in the heart of this historic neighborhood.
This five-hour tour will introduce you to a Harlem you never knew existed:
Please come prepared to experience Harlem at its best!
