| This tour was one of the best highlights of our New York trip. My girlfriend and I are from Wisconsin, and went along with my friends wife, who just recently move to New York. All three of us just loved the tour.
Tastings in the bakery and deli were very neat. Had some of the best food imaginable. It's touted more as a food tour, but my girlfriend is not as much into food as I am, but was elated by the information and sights with the "non-food" attractions along the tour.
Tour guides were just amazing. Very knowledgeable, and so fun to be with. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other tours. There may be cheaper tours available from other companies, but I'm sure they can't compare to this one as far as what is included. In my opinion, Savory Sojourns was worth every penny. Highly recommended. |

| I took my visiting parents on the tour, and we all had a wonderful time. The Culinary Walk through Italian Greenwich Village was a nice balance of neighborhood history and culinary delights. We learned about several architecturally and historically significant buildings, visited several wonderful specialty shops (and tasted their wares - yum!), and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Addie was absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable about both the area and its establishments. |

| I thoroughly enjoyed my tour on April 26,2006 of Greenwich Village. The initial meeting of the group was a nice way to start the tour with pastry and coffee. It made it that much easier to walk and discuss things with the group (especially since I attended the tour alone and many others came with friends). I enjoyed the history of each shop and the neighbourhood eclectic nuances we were told. My highlight was the old speak easy - what a delight to hear about. The size of the tour (7 in total) was so managable. It kept it very itimate and comfortable given the hustle and bustle of the streets. It was lovely to sample foods at each stop and shop as we liked.
I would hightly recommend this tour and hope to attend others on my next visit to NY.
Cheers! |

| As an avid New York City tour goer, I recently went on the Italian Greenwich Village tour with Savory Sojourns. What a fantastic and tasty experience! Addie Tomei is interesting, knowledgeable, and fun. A must for any native New Yorker, day tripper, or tourist visiting New York. |

| Just back from our NYC weekend and the Greenwich Village tour with Addie. What a delight! Ate SO much good food we didn't eat the rest of the day! Loved seeing a side of NYC I'd never seen before and probably wouldn't have experienced as much had I been on my own. But Addie was knowledgeable and delightful. Will definitely recommend and try to do another tour with her the next time I'm in town! |

| Addie led us on a superb "walk" through a very unique neighborhood! She is a most gracious host and an excellent example of a friendly New Yorker! Her knowledge of the area helped us learn the history. The people she introduced us to were friendly and courteous. The "tastings" were scrumptious. Lunch was enjoyable because of her company. We look forward to many more walks with Addie! |

| We (my husband and I) have vacationed in NYC 3-4 times a year for 25 years, and thought we knew most of the nooks and crannies. Though we usually stay 'uptown', we have often wandered the streets of the Village. But until we participated in the Savory Sojourns tour through the Italian Greenwich Village we never "got it". The tour goes beyond the vintage shops and coffee houses and gets right to the heart and soul of the village. I was so touched by the richness of each of the places to which we were introduced, that I already have plans to spend my next vacation in one of the B&B's in the heart of the village. I highly recommend this tour, and though this was my first Savory Sojourns event, I plan to work future vacations around their other offerings. The website does a better job than I in describing each stop, and the personal touch from the owner of these tours makes you know, from the beginning, that this is something special. I would go so far as to invite native New Yorkers to participate as well. As I have been told by many locals, they just don't get around to getting out and enjoying the city. These tours teach you more in a few hours than you could discover on your own in years. A++++ |

| Initially, I was hesitant about commiting such a substantial amount of time and money in one activity when our trip seemed too short to begin with!...I'm SO glad that I did! Our guide, Eileen, (Addie's sister-in-law) was wonderful...it was like have a relative in the city!...it didn't take long at all for our group of eight to become friends and it seemed when it was over that no one wanted to leave. We had such a facinating, informative and enjoyable day...dare I say...'magical!' I'll be scheduling my next trip to NYC around what Addie has to offer!! |
