| We enjoyed every minute of our tour with Addie. From her bright enthusiastic greeting to her warmly relating to everyone in the group we soon were a walking group of new friends.
Her running commentary was always tailored to the planned included components of the tour and the unexpected things that developed and occurred as we walked the area.
Her love for her community and City was clearly on display.
The foods we tasted and dined on were all exceptional.
All three of us, parents and twenty-five year old look forward to our next visit to New York and a tour of another section of the City with Addie. |

| The group was a perfect size, including the guide, 7 in number. This allowed for good questions, few delays along the way and much interest. The guide was interested in pleasing and was delightfully informative. The food places we stopped at were definitely New York and the service and food were excellent. Especially good was the restaurant in Little Italy, Cortile, on Mulberry Street. It was the last stop on the tour and it left everyone well satisfied and enthusiastic about returning to NY real soon. Being a retired New Yorker, and seeing the joy the tour brought to the out-of-towners, it made me want to be a tour guide at some point down the road. Happy New Year!! Don't hesitate to put this tour(s) on your itinerary when in NYC. |

| We had a terrific experience walking all over the town. Our knowledgeable guide pointed out several very interesting facts and showed us part of little Italy we had never seen. The tour was very flexible and we were free to spend more time at the places we really enjoyed (the chocolate shop!) and speed through others. I will certainly go on another tour with this vendor. |

| The food tour was very enjoyable and insightful. The stops selected for the tour were diverse and interesting. We also truly enjoyed and appreciated Addie sharing with us some of her knowledge of the local area's history and architecture.
There is so much to do in NYC and this is truly one of those "must do's". We've recommended the tours to several of our friends already. |

| I had been looking forward to this trip since I had first purchased the tickets. I love food and I love New York and even though I live only an hour or so from the city, I don't have much time to really know where to go. So this day trip was perfect for me! It gave you a chance to just enjoy letting somebody else do the research and work for you. Addie (our tour guide) was great. She was extremely knowledgeable on many topics. She told us a little bit of trivia and history about certain buildings thoughout SOHO and Little Italy and it was very interesting. She was funny and warm and the type of person you like immediately upon meeting. All of the food and tastings were excellent! I am already trying to decide which tour to go on next. I recommend this for the tourist and local alike. |

| What a wonderful tour! My friend and I come into NYC a lot. We wanted to familiarize ourselves with different parts of Manhattan. We chose the Soho/Little Italy tour since we didn't know the area well. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area and going into the various shops. The places we toured were varied from a Chinese market to a Spanish deli and an unbelievably delicious chocolate shop! Not to mention the italian specialty shops and lunch... wow! what a meal. Our guide Eileen was friendly and knowledgeable. She felt like a friend you've known your whole life by tours end! Our group was small and the people friendly. I would recommend this tour to everyone. I can't wait to do another. |

| After five years of trying to coordinate my annual fall theater trip to NYC with a walking tour by Savory Sojourns, this fall finally saw it happen. What a thoroughly enjoyable day!
My girlfriend and I met Addie and the other four people in our group at the famous Balthazar Restaurant. in SoHo. A brief orientation was given while we drank coffee and ate scrumptious Balthazar Breakfast Speciality Treats.
We spent the next few hours visiting small shops in SoHo and Little Italy. Addie seemed to know everyone and the shop owners treated us like royalty. We received tasty samples at many of the places we visited. My very favorite stop was at MarieBelle Chocolates....the samples were extraordinary! The tour ended with a fantastic lunch at IL CORTILE which is a Landmark in Little Italy.
It was very Interesting to me that the two men in our group seemed to like the tour as much as the gals did. This tour is for everyone and I recommend it highly!

| The tour was enjoyable, and lunch was great, but thought it was a bit expensive for what we got. Addie is knowledgeable, interesting and good at what she does, but the stops at the culinary shops (i.e. Sur La Table & Dean & DeLucca) were too short to really be of any value. The Italian & Spanish deli stops were very good, as was the chocolate shop, and the samples were good. Lunch was delicious and plentiful.
A fun day but a bit overpriced for what it was. Cut the price to $100 per person and you'd have a true winner! |
