Totally enjoyed the Seattle Food Tour. Very knowledgable guide with great enthusiasm for the subject and area. We've lived in the area 14 years and were introduced to several places we've never thought to try ourselves. We had heard of some other tours that were less informative and less personal and were fortunate to discover this tour after reading an article in the Puyallup Herald. We are telling all our friends about this tour and highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike. Thanks!

This was a wonderful experience for my group of friends and myself. We chose this tour thinking how perfect - we can get some exercise in, tour the town, and eat a variety of foods...3 activities rolled into one. Initially, we couldn't find a date compatible to our schedule. Bronwyn, however, was very accommodating by opening up a day especially for us. The tour started at a terrific bakery on First Avenue. Bronwyn was already there waiting for us. She provided us with a preveiw of what to expect and had bottles of water and umberellas ready for us. The tour took about 2.5 hours around the Belltown, Pikes, and downtown area. Bronwyn worked in details about the town's history and it architecture. We were able to sample foods from 7 different restaurants/ specialty shops. At each stop, Bronwyn or the owners would give us terrfic background information about the food and establishment. All 7 food samples were delicious and good size servings.
Rating: 5 Not for tourists only.

All 4 of us live in the Seattle area...2 their whole lives (late 30s). We all learned something new, as well as had lots of fun. Bronwyn had just the right level of fun & enthusiasm.
Rating: 5 Wonderful experience.

The tour provided a great overview of Seattle, with some interesting bits of history, a glimpse into the public art and a nice overview of Seattle's culinary scene. Even though I have worked in the area for years and pride myself in keeping up with the restaurant scene, the guide introduced us to some hidden gems. Places that are normally not covered in the restaurant reviews, but should not be missed. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic in sharing her love of the city and the Northwest cuisine for which the city is famous. A most enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

So my husband and I are self proclaimed foodies. We figured how could we go wrong with an eating tour of Seattle? What great fun this is, Brownwin is so knowledgable, the history, the food, the sights, the smells. The coconut cream pie. All grand. We went back to many of the places that were discussed and I am now a bonfide Tom Douglas foodie. I think someone should write a book about the gems found in the Bell district, A must do for any serious foodie, local or tourist.
Rating: 5 Both informative and delicious

Our guide was absolutely perfect. She shared her knowledge of local history as we walked to our next watering hole, pointing out locations of interest along the way. The stops along the way were nicely varied and each gave a snapshot view of what Seattle has to offer. A great outing dispite the rain.
Rating: 5 Perfect to Start Your Vacation!

During the last planning stages of our trip to Seattle, I discovered two different Seattle Walking/Food Tours online. Having booked through Zerve for a tour in NYC and liking the options slightly better on this particular tour than the other, I decided to book the Seattle Walking Food Tour of Belltown & Pike Place. We were VERY glad we did. Our guide was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, spoke clearly, and good at handling situations that arose (in particular, homeless people). Besides our wonderful guide, the choices for stops and the food selections were so fantastic that we decided to return to a few on our own. Our favorites were Pike Place Chowder and Rose's Chocolates, but we truly enjoyed learning about the other restaurants, their histories, and the owners/chefs as well. It was very informative and made for a great first thing to do upon arrival in Seattle. We were able to make informed choices for our lunches and dinners for the remainder of our stay. My only disappointment would be was that the tour wasn't long enough. I could have walked, listened to stories, and sampled foods/drinks for a few more hours! One note of concern was a restaurant recommended on the tour: Cascadia. Apparently the restaurant and its chef are highly regarded, having garnished many awards and appearing on TV. Unfortunately, we were, apparently, not welcome there, and I would recommend that the tour remove this restaurant from its recommendation list. We arrived there at 5:00 pm when it opened. The dining room was empty. We asked for a table for 2 and informed that we did not have a reservation for the empty restaurant. We were told that they could seat us (if they had to), but we'd have to leave by 6:30 when their reservations started. We declined the "invitation," as it was apparent that we were not wanted and -- I'm assuming -- that the service is too slow since an hour and a half would not be enough time.
Rating: 5 Well worth our time.

The quality of the tour trumped the poor weather. Great Job!

We are local and I wanted to do something fun and special for my husband's birthday. So, I invited his closest friend and his wife and surprised him with this walking tour. We had a delightful time. Dress warmly for this tour and you'll get the most out of it since it is mostly outdoors. We learned so much more about the Market and Belltown restaurants and history on this 2 1/2 hour tour than we did living for 7 years at South Lake Union. It was a blast learning so much about our old neighborhood -- we're planning several November dinner dates at the restaurants we were shown by our guide. During November you can try a host of great restaurants for $30 for a three-course meal.
Rating: 5 Fantastic Tour

This was a very unique tour. I not only sampled some wonderful Seattle cuisine but learned about Seattle's history too - especially of the Belltown area. I don't eat meat and was well taken care of. We were equipped with a water bottle, a list of all the restaurants recommended during the tour and several discount coupons. Our tour guide was quite sweet and the rhythm of the tour was very good. I highly recommend it!
