This is a great tour for locals and tourists! They show you Belltown and a part of Pike Market. You will have tastings in/from several restaurants (sometimes you are seated sometimes you continuing to walk around while tasting). The tourguide will provide also some historical information, show some pictures and tell about a lot of restaurants where you pass. You will also get a list with the restaurants, they talked about. I have already recommended it to several people especially friends who have visitors from out of town to take this tour! We did this tour with 3 friends and my one year old baby...it was ok to take the stroller but be ready to push (up hill) or go down a stair...
Rating: 5 We highly recommend the Seattle Food Tour!

Our tour guide was great; she was very knowledgeable about the local restaurants and history. You could tell that she had great relationships with many of the restauranteurs that we visited, so that made us feel very welcomed in those local establishments. Also, we feel that one of the best ways to get to know a city and/or culture is through the local food. This tour definitely allowed us to get a taste of the local fare and unique cuisine of Seattle. We would recommend doing the tour early on in your visit to Seattle; that way, you can figure out where to eat during the duration of your trip. Finally, although we loved the tour, it would have been nice to have the option of more tastings along the way (even if the price of the tour increased). A suggestion would be to offer two different trip lengths: one with the current seven tastings and another longer tour with more tastings. Overall, we loved the Seattle Walking Food Tour; it was one of the greatest highlights of our trip!

We arrived in Seattle late Wednesday and took the food tour Thursday morning. It was the perfect introduction to Seattle restaurants, and included local history as well. We enjoyed our guide; she was very knowledgeable and personable. After our tour, we were able to plan our dining adventures for the rest of our trip. We felt that this experience really added to our overall enjoyment of Seattle. I wish I could start every vacation this way!

We would never have known about the quaint and delicious as well as the wide variety of restaurants in the neighborhood where the tour took place, and we were only staying 5 blocks away. The tour was a wonderful way to start our visit to the city, that way we could plan other meals based on our guides recommendations. We are from New Orleans, where the bar is set HIGH for great food, but we were very impressed with Seattle restaurants, from service to flavor. I recommend this tour in the beginning of a trip and definitely skip breakfast and bring your appetite!

The guide was great. She made a special effort to talk to each guest and find out if there was something we were looking for. Since we had locals, she pointed out facts that we might not have known. The food was great. I wish I had kept notes! Will do it again!

Bronwyn was an incredible hostess and guide. She provided a great amount of history about the area and many of the businesses. We got a great meal in pieces from several restaurants, including desert. I asked her about other tourist attractions and she had many good ideas. Highly recommended, a lot of fun and informative. Great for locals and tourists.

Great tour and yummy food. I didn't expect to be full but it's true, it was more than enough for lunch. I wish I had more time in Seattle so I could try all the recommended restaurants!

I truly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was just full of historical information on the area and other very interesting trivia. I was pleasantly surprised, not knowing what to expect at how fun, interesting, professional and yummy the tour was. I will be buying this tour again for gifts. Thanks

The tour was fun, interesting and a great value. It gave me many ideas about where to go out for a meal. Also I'm made aware again of what a great resource we have in The Pike Place Market. I'd do it again--Thanks!

I am SO glad I started my vacation in Seattle with this tour because I learned so much about Seattle and some of the great restaurants in the Downtown area. Got to sample coffee, a pastry, some BBQ (which I was not expecting to try being that Seattle is not known for BBQ - that, and I am from Texas), the best clam chowder in the country, some chocolate, smoked salmon and a desert from Dahlia Bakery. Food was good, and variety was nice. I also really liked what I learned about Seattle from the guide, she was very nice and informative. I also found out about some restaurants that I never would have known about that I actually ended up going to later on in my trip that were absolutely wonderful (Zoe's and Lola's - both very nice!). So if you are visiting Seattle for the first time and like food, this is a definite good place to start a vacation.
