Good way to get an overview
Wed, May 27  3:00 PM aznaturist Male 40-49 Combination Group of Friends
Very informed about the restaurants we went to, the ones we didn't get to go in to and the area. It was a very good way to find a few places to later enjoy dinner or lunch at. Which we did. We had a meal at 4 of the places on or mentioned on the tour. Other than service issues at one place they where all fantastic. Well worth it, particularly if you are new to BellTown.

My husband and I have taken 2 previous food tours (Boston and New Orleans), and after our Belltown Restaurant tour, we agree that this tour was by far the very BEST of the three tours! The best historical perspective, the best stops, the best food samples! Take this tour at the very beginning of your visit to Seattle, as we did. Our group of 4 people were impressed by the wide variety and high quality of restaurants we visited. We later ate at three of the restaurants included or recommended on this tour and were not disappointed. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable, personable and you could easily tell that he loves great food. We highly recommend this tour! to anyone who loves to eat great food!!!

Small portion and cheap food were served. Did not get the much out of those award winning chefs. Bad timing and foods were made ahead of time.

Unexpectedly Interesting
Seattle Walking Food Tour of Belltown & Pike Place

A friend dragged me into this food tour and I thought to myself, "$40 bucks for a tour that doesn't even provide much food!" I went into the food tour thinking I was going to be hungry and bored, but turns out I had lots of fun. It was about 40 degrees, but our food tour guide (Carol) was so knowledgeable. She knew everything there was to know about Belltown and also about pikes. She told interesting stories about the city. Most of the restaurants she did mention were on the higher end and out of my cost range. I am a bigger guy and love to devour large amounts of food (ie. meaning I like quantity over quality). She did however recommend other restaurants that were a bit cheaper. I don't think I'll be hitting up all the recommended restaurants in the future, but a couple of them intrigued me.

Wonderful Tour
Seattle Walking Food Tour of Belltown & Pike Place

This tour provided so much great information about the Belltown and Pike Place areas and restaurants. The treats along the way were wonderful and way more than expected. It was great to take this tour at the beginning of our trip as it allowed us to make decisions based on the information we had heard from the tour and not randomly pick a spot. Out of the 30+ restaurants described during the tour, we tried 7 during our 3 day stay and they all lived up to their expectations. Thanks so much! Highly recommend this tour!

my team had a great time on this tour. we are local, but we learned a lot about belltown and the food was great. the only downside was we thought there would be more food, so we had to go out after for lunch.

We enjoyed this tour. I would recommend going in the beginning of your trip, as they offer many, many suggestions of great restaurants to try. Our tour guide, Carol, was wonderful--very knowledgable about the history of the city, as well as the eateries. We had a very small tour group, which afforded us the opportunity to ask many questions. The food was good and was enough to constitute "lunch" for the day! Overall, I would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was Brownwen and she did an excellent job of providing our group with history and information about Belltown and the Pike Place neighborhoods. We had a perfect day for walking and the pace was just right for our group. The variety of restraurants was sufficient and opportunities to taste samples was nicely paced throughout the morning. We did subsequently dine at three of the establishments so that says a lot for her recommendations and should be a boost for participating businesses. My guest and I both agreed that it was well worth the money!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Belltown and Pikes Place Market. Our guide did an excellent job of providing history of the area and pointing out restaurants and points of interest we would have missed on our own. The food samples were delicious and ample. Would recommend this tour to most anyone....foodie or not.

Three of us took the day off from work and walked the tour. We loved it. Great food and very interesting Seattle history. Our tour guide did a great job of providing information, staying organized and making for a fun day. Who knew that 1st Avenue had such a restaurant variety. We will be back and share this experience with friends.

We were expecting a different experience with the food tour. We were a group of knowledgeable food women that came to Seattle to eat! There was a ton of information on all the restaurants we stopped by and which ones to go to, but we had already done our homework for that. We were expecting more information about the food we were eating. The best stop was at Rose's Chocolates in the market because it was a real "informative" stop. Rose herself was there and it really made the difference. All the other stops were very impersonal and just a way to "feed us" to make us feel like it was worth what we paid. I might as well been at Costco. Another strange thing is our first stop after our meeting place (at 10:30 AM) was for a bbq sandwich.
