| Went on the Seattle Food Tour with girlfriends to celebrate my birthday! Had a great experience and enjoyed some fabulous food. Bronwyn was a fantastic guide and taught me fun facts and history about the city where I have lived all my life. Highly recommended tour for both locals and visitors. Save room for the last stop at the Dahlia Bakery, the dessert is MMmmm, MMmm good! | ||||||

| Very knowledgeable and energetic tour guide...reminded me of the Vancome Lady from Mad TV :D Lots of good samples, we did end up buying a lot of almost everything we tried...but we probably could have tried most of the samples for free outside of the tour. It does definitely get you to try new things and stop at shops you might not have. | ||||||

| Wow! What a fun tour! This tour, as well as the Pike Market tour, were definately highlights of our time in Seattle. Michael was our tour guide. He was so much fun! He was very well informed and a great communicator. The 2 1/2 - 3 hours flew by so fast. The restaurants he took us to were some of his personal favorites and he personally knew the chefs. We sampled the best sushi, tapas, crab cake sliders, gourmet brownies from a special bakery and a to-die-for rabbit, mushroom, chard wonder, made by Ashley, a contestant on the Top Chef TV show. We had a "photo op" with Ashley as well as were just able to visit with her and ask her questions. We had a glass of wine there. We also went to a wine bar and had another glass of wine accompanied with truffle butter popcorn. Michael told us about a lot of the other restaurants we weren't able to go to, in case we wanted to try them another time. The tour is moderate walking but we were able to sit down at most places. Don't miss it! It's well worth the money and the time! Ned & Diane - Cambridge, IA | ||||||

| This tour was definately one of our Seattle highlights! We considered just seeing Pike Market on our own but decided to take the tour instead. This tour was well worth the money. Steve, our guide, was fun and very informative. He gave us just the right amount of history to make it interesting but not enough to make it boring. He took us to places we would have never found or gone to on our own. He took us to Pure Fish, and told us about his favorite fish monger (sp?) there as we ate a big sample of his favorite smoked salmon. We went to the "gum wall" in a back alley where thousands and thousands of of people stuck their already-chewed-gun on brick walls - VERY interesting!!!! :-) We'd have never found that on our own! It was a very fun thing to see. We sampled wonderful gelato, cheese & salami, best-of- the-best cookies, truffle popcorn, the best clam chowder in the world!, the only made- fresh-daily-crumpets (sp?) in the world! as well as enjoyed a wonderful antipasto plate at the Pink Door. I hope I didn't miss anything. The whole tour was great. Like I said, well worth the time and the money. Thank you, Steve! Ned & Diane - Cambridge, IA | ||||||

| We had such a great time. The back ground of history and restaurant information was extremely interesting. We had never been to Seattle before this trip and were in town for a family wedding. I think we told everyone we saw, that they should do the tour themselves and also include it as a must do tour for all out of town guests. We loved it! Highlight of our trip. | ||||||

| The guide was great. Very upbeat and knowledgeable. Not only were we informed about the foods in Belltown but we also learned about the history of the city and its architecture. The establishments we visited were all very good (in fact we returned to Pike Place Chowder on Monday for lunch - the guy behind the counter was suggesting the tour to out of town patrons). We will definitely do this tour again and enthusiastically suggest it to friends visiting the city. A great value for the money. A question...does Seattle Food Tours have another tour that visits other eating establishments? | ||||||

| This was the perfect start for a first time visit to Seattle. We got our bearings, tried some great food and got lots of inside information on area restaurants. The bonus was that our guide was also very knowledgable about Seattle history, the Belltown and Pike Place areas we walked through; which made the tour informative. Some of our group members were from Seattle and seemed to get as much out of the tour as the visitors to the city. I'd highly recommend this tour - one of the best things we did in Seattle! | ||||||

| We loved the tour. We were in town just for one day with our 11 year old daughter and were looking for something unique to do. We loved the behind the scenes tour of the Pike Street Market. It would have been overwhelming for us to find anything on our own. The food samples we did were great, very delicious and several things we had never had before. Our daughter loved it. In fact we all enjoyed it so much we changed our plans at the end of our vacation week so we could go to Seattle again for the restaurant tour. | ||||||

| I have taken my mom (who lives in Seattle) in this tour based on the recommendations given by other travelers. The group was made of 10 people (incl the guide) and it was fairly entairtaining. We stopped at 5 restaurants and each time we tried 1 course. Greek- we had 3 spreads with pita), sushi - we had 2 types of rolls, tapas bar ( one kind of appetizer), italian- 3 gnocchis with truffles, american bar- one crabcake each .. etc. Then there was a bakery where we had a brownie and last, a wine bar where we had a glass of wine.. I would not recommend this for anyone with food allergies/ picky taste because you have no say in whats given to you. Thankfully my mom and I tried everything out of curiosity, but if she were my husband... it would have been a waste of money and time, since ure not told beforehand what they have in store for u at each place. If ure open-minded and have few hrs in Seattle to kill , is worth the 50 dollars/pp to get a bit of history (told by the guide) together with 5 different flavors of Seattle cuisine. | ||||||

| We are a local couple from Seattle and we loved this local food tour of Pike Place Market. We absolutely loved our host, Penny. Her knowledge and passion for her tour was palpitable. I am a transplant from all-over USA and spent much time studying Seattle history to acclimate myself to my new home. Penny is right up there with the local history and lore and we suggest to anyone to take this tour (local or otherwise.) If we were going to split hairs; we sure would wish more vendors would associate themselves with the tour and allow us to "munch" more. Good eats. | ||||||

| My friend and I, who are both locals, loved the tour. We were introduced to restaurants and bistros that we had never noticed before. We learned about restaurants aside from the ones we visited. Our guide provided us with the history of the area and we learned all about the Denny Regrade and he even had pictures. It was fun to be the only locals among a group of tourists and to view our city through their eyes. | ||||||

| As a local, it was wonderful to visit and have pointed out restaurants that I didn't even know were there. Bronwyn's knowledge of the area was inciteful. The samples of the food were very good and filling by the end of the tour. Loved it and would recommend it to friends. | ||||||
