| Three of us took the day off from work and walked the tour. We loved it. Great food and very interesting Seattle history. Our tour guide did a great job of providing information, staying organized and making for a fun day. Who knew that 1st Avenue had such a restaurant variety. We will be back and share this experience with friends. | ||||||

| We were expecting a different experience with the food tour. We were a group of knowledgeable food women that came to Seattle to eat! There was a ton of information on all the restaurants we stopped by and which ones to go to, but we had already done our homework for that. We were expecting more information about the food we were eating. The best stop was at Rose's Chocolates in the market because it was a real "informative" stop. Rose herself was there and it really made the difference. All the other stops were very impersonal and just a way to "feed us" to make us feel like it was worth what we paid. I might as well been at Costco. Another strange thing is our first stop after our meeting place (at 10:30 AM) was for a bbq sandwich. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the tour leader, Carole. She was knowlegeable, we could hear her explain the many historical and culinary highlights. The choice of the food sampling was outstanding. I have lived in Redmond for about 2 years and took the food tour on recommendation of local people who took it. The friends I took with me with from New Jersey and are amateur gourmet chefs themselves. They raved about it. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this food tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. The food samples were plentiful and we came away with a very good idea of how wonderful the food selections are in Seattle. We also got a nice slice of the history of the city. I would recommend this tour to anybody. | ||||||

| Despite the lack of sleep due to our red-eye flight from Honolulu, we were thoroughly captivated with the mix of history and sampling of tasty bites on Bronwyn's tour. To categorize the samplings as bites is actually a disservice as we were quite full by the end of the tour. We glanced at other tours during our Seattle trip and actually scoffed at the wee portions others were offered. Bronwyn's voice was clear and we really didn't need any type of audio aide. We highly recommend this tour to anyone with a love of food and a curiosity of Pike Place & Belltown. Aloha! | ||||||

| My friend and I found the tour fabulous. It helped orient us to several areas worth exploring. The foods and latte we sampled were delicious. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and willing to share additional information. They offered info on history, architecture, great shopping, more restaurants, eateries and night spots than you could possibly fit in -- though we tried. And they were right on target. I unreservedly recommend this tour to everyone. | ||||||

Insight into Belltown and great food

| As good as the food was, learning about the development of Belltown was fascinating. This tour allows one to get some insight into the character and development of Belltown, something you'd never really get if you just walk through the neighbourhood. Also our guide, Bronwyn (spelling?), had a great depth of knowledge of the area, as well as the different restaurants, their owners and their stories. Although the tour is for Belltown and Pike Place, about two-thirds of the walk was in Belltown. The other third was in Post Alley, just adjacent to the main and more touristy section of the Pike Place Market. A bit hard to hear the guide when large trucks and traffic go by, but our guide was enthusiastic and always willing to answer questions. All in all, food for the mind for those interested in hows, whats and whys and food for the stomach for those who want to know the good places to eat. | ||||||

| Bronwyn's was very informed and gracious host. We loved her interaction with the group and with the places of business. We are from Olympia but this tour has spurred our interest in returning to Seattle to enjoy more of the Big Cities LOCAL FLAIR, and naturally continue with the major sporting events, plays, music events that we are used to attending. Thank you! | ||||||

| I enjoyed how friendly our tour guide was to our group. She shared some very interesting history about Seattle while giving us detailed information about the different restaurants in Seattle. She knew all about the chefs and their special entrees that they serve. The tasting part was the best part. The day ended with a delicious coconut cream pie dessert. | ||||||

| This is a perfect event for locals or tourists at the begining of their trip as it gives you a sense of great places to eat. While some of the locations are "special event" type restaurants, the vast majority are places you could visit for a very nice meal on a regular basis. The guide was witty and full of great information, and she was very well organized. I would strongly suggest this tour. | ||||||

| We had such a great time. The back ground of history and restaurant information was extremely interesting. We had never been to Seattle before this trip and were in town for a family wedding. I think we told everyone we saw, that they should do the tour themselves and also include it as a must do tour for all out of town guests. We loved it! Highlight of our trip. | ||||||

| This is a must for local and tourist alike. I've lived in Seattle 20+ years and didn't know many of the secrets and history shared on this tour. The places we stopped for food/samples were great and delicious. The pulled pork sandwich from the Frontier Room was amazing! Bronwyn our guide knew her stuff. Appreciated the insight she gave into good places to eat. Now if I can just find the time to return to them and indulge my taste buds. This tour is well worth the money, time and an inch on your waist line! | ||||||

| This tour was recommended by a native Seattleite(?). And how glad we took her recommendation. It was great! Tour operator - Bronwyn, or Robin to the rest of us, was so interesting and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the history and especially the food! If we are back in Seattle - we would take it again. | ||||||
