| We were in Seattle for a week, and loved this tour. It was probably the best thing that we did. We love Seattle. What a fun town. Our tour guide was Heather. She as very nice, and felt like our friend right from the start. The tour starts out with tea and greetings. We loved everything. Heather's knowledge of the history is amazing. As you eat your way through the city, you are also taking in every bit of history from the year the market was built to even a little ghost story or two. I would take this tour again. It could be the same food and information and I would do it all over again. Infact...Seattle--- HEAR I COME!!! If you are reading this Heather...Jess and Rhonda loved their tour as well. Thank you! | ||||||

| The 2 1/2 hour tour was great. We stopped at approximately 10 establishments and all were interesting and had great samples. We had walked around Pike Place Market a few days earlier and had not even noticed most of these great establishments. Penny, our guide, was awesome. She was fun, knowledgable, and passionate about her enthusiasm for the market. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. | ||||||

| We loved the tour. We were in town just for one day with our 11 year old daughter and were looking for something unique to do. We loved the behind the scenes tour of the Pike Street Market. It would have been overwhelming for us to find anything on our own. The food samples we did were great, very delicious and several things we had never had before. Our daughter loved it. In fact we all enjoyed it so much we changed our plans at the end of our vacation week so we could go to Seattle again for the restaurant tour. | ||||||

| This tour was excellent and we highly recommend it to others. Our guide was Penny and she was the best! She was very personable, knew the Market like the back of her hand and shared interesting history quips along the way. We would definitely be interested in doing more tours with Penny the next time we are in town. | ||||||

| I had the pleasure of having a great tour leader named Penni. She loves to cook, eat and share her knowledge of Pike Place with you. There are so many delicious foods to try here and we got to sample quite a bit. They included chinese teas, salami and cheese made in WA, cinnamon mini doughnuts, dried apples (6 different varieties of apples) and cherries, gelato, cookies, beecher's cheese, smoked salmon, chocolate linguine, fresh/tree ripened peaches, strawberries, truffle oil, crumpets with honey , pike place chowder and on and on. After the tour, I had my bearings of where to buy and eat at the different food stands for the next fews days I had in Seattle. | ||||||

| We had beautiful weather, a great guide and wonderful food. Very informative and interesting learning about Belltown and the early history of Seattle. Food was wonderful at each stop and my only negative would be is it would be nice if some of the servings were a little more substantial in order to actually have a full dinner along the way. The portions were nice, but just not quite enough to make a full meal... but I would do it again and recommend this tour to anyone visiting or living in Seattle. Also, our guide made this tour truly worth it !! | ||||||

| Visiting Seattle for the first time with our two teenage boys. Our guide was very informative with some Seattle history and knowledge of some great restaurants. Got to sample from 6 different places and actually went back and had dinner at 3 of them during our trip. I highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| We had Heather as our guide, and she was very knowledgable & fun. The 2.5 hour tour went quickly, we stopped in 7-8 places, but also had an understanding of the 'lay of the land'. This allowed us to return to both places we visited and places we saw on the tour. Highly recommend. | ||||||

| This was a very fun thing to do and a great way to "sample" restaurants! The food was excellent, the guides were really passionate and knowledgeable, not only about food, chefs, and restaurants, but about Bell Town and it's history as well. We live on the East Side and weren't familiar with restaurants in Seattle. Now we have many wonderful places we feel confident about and look forward to going back to. We hear that there may be tours in other areas in the near future, and we will definitely take them! | ||||||

A perfect thing to do on your first day to Seattle

| We took this tour on our first day in Seattle in order to get an insiders view of the Pike Place Market - where to go, what to see, and what to eat. Besides the locations actually visited on this tour, our guide gave us insight on other great places in the Pike Place Market as well as other attractions in the Seattle area. During our week in Seattle, we utilized our "insider information" in order to have a great vacation. I highly recommend this tour. | ||||||

Eat before going

| After reading some of the reviews it sounded like a person should bring their appetite. So we skipped breakfast. On our first stop the warning lights went off, 4 of us in a group, with 4 paper thin slices of salami and 4 paper thin slices of cheese. This would not have been a bad thing as the meat and cheese was very good. But the next stop, a single drop of aged vinegar was par with the rest of the "taste tour" (it truly was a taste). A sample of Sorbet, a half of trumpet, and finally the main course. A plate of antipasto salad split 5 ways. All of the food was quite good and myself and my wife went back to many of vendors and bought more. The information regarding the history was informative but both of us felt we were better off exploring the market on our own and feel that the tour should either provide a lunch or recommend eating before going on the tour. My recommendation; live dangerously, go to the market and walk around, read the signs and finally, eat what you want. BTW, the samples we received walking around around on our on were quite a bit more generous than those provided by the tour. Ed and Tammy | ||||||

| I felt that the tour focused on just what I wanted to learn about the Market. The establishments where we stopped to sample food were varied and places I felt the locals might stop to eat. We ate at Pike Place Chowder and the Pink Door (both are on the tour). The food was excellent and you can’t beat the Pink Door’s view on a beautiful summer night. | ||||||

| Our guide, Penny, was an enthusiastic, energetic tour guide. She took us on a varity-filled food tour. We tasted smoked salmon, gelato, crumpets, etc. The list goes on and on all while she gave wonderful information about the market place history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. | ||||||
